We wanted the new house to capture the spirit of the traditional Alpine Haus put on our lot in the late 1960's, but with the quality construction, updated features, and more comfortable living that a new home could provide. Throughout the construction process, he made himself available to talk with our contractor and visit the construction site multiple times to clarify the plans and answer questions. The project was complicated by the need to match up roof lines from the original house, a added greenhouse entry and the new gable roof line of the patio cover. The end result was a wonderful patio garden area which allowed for the use of the patio rain or shine.”

“Working with Mark Lee on our vacation home design was a pleasant experience. Because of his recommendations, our house is not only exactly the style we love, but is also functional. It is a cozy retreat for the two of us when we are here alone, yet it comfortably accommodates our visiting family and friends. “My husband and I are thrilled to be starting construction on our family home designed by Christopher Kellie Design Inc.. It was a true pleasure to work with Brent and Autumn Simmons throughout the design process. Not only is the architecture of Christopher Kellie aesthetically pleasing, it is also very smart in it's design. As a contractor/designer myself, I was first drawn to the "look" of the houses designed by the Simmons, however the actual use of space proved to be just as impressive. Brent's background knowledge in construction is obvious, as his layouts are very builder-friendly. Close attention is given to sizes and spatial relationships, allowing for maximum usage of area and efficiency with materials. On a more personal note, the Simmons were a joy to meet and work with. We live in another state, and they were most accommodating from the beginning. Autumn helped us to plan our trip to the beautiful mountains of NC, giving us recommendations for lodging, dining, as well as the best places to visit while in the area. The two also opened up their home to us, allowing us to see first hand their designs put to life. Since our visit, they have checked in periodically on our progress and we look forward to sharing photos soon! “Alice Dodson designed a house for us located on mountain property in Buncombe County, NC, in 2016. We love the house plan she designed for us and recommend her without reservation! She met every deadline she set for herself, often completing ahead of her self-imposed deadlines. She is very creative and extremely meticulous in her designs. She exceeded our expectations based on work we have seen by other architects in this area. She collaborates skillfully and willingly with other building professionals in the process. “Last year, we hired Mark Sinsky to design our dream home in Asheville, NC, while we are living in Houston, TX. Mark was very thoughtful about our desires and wishes for our home, while also being respectful of the property we had chosen and how to make the best use of all our spectacular views. We got so much more than architectural drawings and specifications. We appreciate all of the creativity, thought, and heart that he put into the design of our home. It's EXACTLY why we wanted him on our team, especially since we were hundreds of miles away from the construction which began last year. Houzz only gives the option to show the project is over 100k, but you can see from the pictures, the upscale beautiful homes that Mark specifically creates for each individual home, while staying within any budget restraints requested by his clients. As the homeowners, we appreciated his detailed drawings that allowed us to determine where best to use our funds.
