“I highly recommend Cynthia Karegeannes, Architect. Ms. Karegeannes took her time, and gave my husband and me plenty of time, coming up with a kitchen renovation plan that covered all the bases for our wants and our needs, and she made the most of every inch of space we had! She has a very good understanding of practical use of space, and placement of appliances and cabinetry. Her kitchen designs are beautiful AND functional! She "held my hand" on some parts of the project and stepped back and followed my lead at other times. I found out throughout the entire project that Ms. Karegeannes REALLY knows her trade. She also takes a down-to-earth approach to the whole project. She listens well, considers, and then offers solutions. Her work is beautiful, and my kitchen is a dream to work in every single day.”

“We hired Lori to design a home we want to build in Athens. We already had the lot and Lori's challenge was to design the house down to the last detail working with us who live 3,000 miles away! Not an easy task, but she was up for the challenge. With emails and teleconferencing, using ideas from Houzz, and her 3-D software to help us "walk through" the spaces, we're almost done - and we haven't yet set foot on the ground. I thought I knew precisely what I wanted, but didn't know how to execute the plans to get there. Lori had creative solutions and offered alternatives I hadn't even considered, many of which are now in the final plan. She's thorough, detail-oriented, patient with a client (me) who changes her mind at times and spent a great deal of time at the onset just getting to know us. When you're building your dream house from 3,000 miles away you'd better be comfortable with the architect you hired. We're VERY comfortable!”

“We met Van through our (soon to be) builder, who has worked with Van for years on various projects, including his parents house. So, having that kind of recommendation we were very interested in seeing how Van would work for us. Happy to say that we are thoroughly impressed with the work he has done so far. Van has taken a lot of time to get to know my husband and myself and our style preferences, and is great at listening to what we want (or think we want!) and transforming those talks into a fabulous home design. It's been great to have Houzz as a tool, so that we can communicate styles or ideas that my husband and I may not have the correct terminology to describe. Van has a great attention for detail and has been able to lead us in the direction of creating a beautiful and functional design for our home. He has made plenty of suggestions that show he understands the style we would like to have in our house (modern farmhouse) and many of his recommendations are in our final plans. He came out to our property, and from where we wanted to "plant" the house, he made quite a few adjustments to the plans that we hadn't even considered; so glad to have his eye on that! Van is also great with explaining why things can or cannot be done, and is very pragmatic in guiding us on our choices and the costs and benefits from those choices. He knows how to get you what you want in a design and keep it within a budget.”

The Amicalola was built in the community and it is a stunning home. Quite frankly, this is my dream home, with lots of open space both indoors and outdoors, beautiful kitchen, decks, vaulted ceilings, great bath and so, so much more. Other design plans provided by this team are extraordinary and so versatile. They will work with you to find the right fit for your needs. I will also be using him for the phase 3 exterior and roof details. Incredibly easy to work with and very competent. “Opening up our 40 year old kitchen modernized the look and its functionality. Now our breakfast room and kitchen are one room which improves conversation and entertaining. Opening the kitchen, the glass island vent hood separating the kitchen from the breakfast room and the granite counter tops were the highlights of our remodeling. Remodeling included new appliances, counter tops, porcelain tile flooring, resurfacing the cabinets and painting. We met with Sola Design several times in our home, their studio and stores. They recommended and worked with contractors and even volunteered to "house-sit" the contractors! Sola was with us all the way during this.project and they were fun to work with also a BONUS!!!”
