“Dave Piches was a perfect fit for my project. There are many reasons to hire an architect but mine could be reduced to one large factor; creativity. Being a contractor for the past 23 years, I'm not new the construction process and I have rather high expectations. Couple this aspect of the situation with the fact that for years I had attempted to draw the plans myself as part of a creative outlet but could not bring all of the aesthetics in place as a comprehensive whole which had any panache.
After Dave met with me and my wife, he took the plans I provided along with the ideas we stated and created an entirely different design. At first my feelings were a bit hurt that none of what I supplied was used in the final design, but as I went through his plans that faded quickly. He heard everything we requested and then added "wow" which resulted in a fantastic design that intrigues all that visit. Every detail I had described and drawn was used but in ways I had not imagined.
