“We decided to award Home Architecture the design contract for a large rear extension we had planned for our 1930s house. The designed drawing by Mike had some design options that at the time we had not considered. With this open advice and forward thinking vision we approved modification for the final drawing sign off. Its now some eight years since we had the extension done and still very much appreciated the input we had from the architects. The rear extension in brief consisted of a approx 6m x 4m single story extension, with
tiled roof , velux windows and Bi-fold doors across the rear to open up onto hard wood decking. I would recommend Home Architecture if you are considering building works small or large.”

“Our first "in the flesh" viewing of the Oakwrights Kenchester barn-style garage we purchased was at the Goodwood Festival Of Speed - we were amazed at how spacious it was and the quality of the build was clearly excellent. Our requirement was for the building to be constructed on a pre-arranged base.
We were delighted when we initially sought a quotation from Oakwrights to find it undercut the nearest estimate we had by £4000!
The whole process of erecting the frame and tiling took three men three days from start to finish, which was amazing. They were totally professional and courteous and kept us informed of progress throughout. The end result is fantastic and gets much admiration from visitors and friends alike.”

“Absolute Architecture was a joy to work with. Kate Cooper and her team worked with a tiny, decrepit home, large garden and stables from 1908 and turned the property into a show piece. They were sympathetic to the original design and area while making the home user friendly and comfortable for contemporary residents. They were knowledgeable about the many local laws and guidelines and used the best local craftsmen for the renovation and addition, all in a timely, warm manner.

“Our requirement was a bit unusual as we needed to fit a new structure onto the rear of the house without compromising existing windows, and to create a novel and dramatic structure with ‘wow’ factor whilst transforming the overall look of the rear elevation. Where two previous architects had failed to find a solution that we liked, Lizzie took us through a layered process that ultimately delivered an exciting and unique solution. Through this, she developed a good understanding of what we were trying to achieve and we are delighted with the resulting scheme.
Lizzie provided an excellent drawings pack that our builders rate as the best they have seen, and was highly effective at working through detail with us and the builders and key suppliers to ensure no issues or surprises as the build progressed. The final result certainly met and exceeded our expectations. Strongly recommend.”
