Apart from council "doing my head in" the stress relief by Io Architecture stepping in and being persistence proved worthwhile and finally gave us our expected and deserving result. “Every day we find cause to enjoy our home and be thankful for the creative architecture and professional work of DE atelier - their design is innovative, functional and a retreat for peaceful living. Special features include raised walkway floating over a pond at the entrance, light-filled stairwell directing residents to lower level self contained living area, two bedrooms, study and bathroom. Upstairs the kitchen, living, balcony and master bedroom. Moving between the living and the bedroom features an internal bridge / walkway. The design enhances our privacy as we look out to a rural view, yet sheltered from the urban street.”

The pair exceeded expectations on the design: they took all our 'nice to haves' and added them in with the 'must haves'. I feel they truly understood our vision from the outset, so that what we ended up with is simply perfect.”

“Sheri was the architect for my daughter and her husband for a major renovation of their house in Sandringham and they were very pleased with her design, co-operation throughout and the result. As a result we chose her as architect for a similar renovation of our holiday house in Pt. Lonsdale and were equally satisfied with her design,drawings and assistance throughout. Sheri is talented, competent and co-operative and I would recommend her for this type of work.”

“We engaged Tessellate for a renovation and extension to our family home. They really understood our needs and responded to our brief with a number of well thought out concepts which they went on to fine tune as we gave then feedback and further discussed how we would use the space and our lifestyle, before we came to the final design. Their ideas were practical and functional but also had a special design aspect that we would never have conceived of by ourselves. Steven Swain was very conscious of cleverly making use of the current structure to manage costs. We had a very strict budget and we worked together to prioritise the areas we wanted to invest money in and where we could save without losing the overall vision of what we wanted to achieve. The drawing were detailed and well thought out and the team went above and beyond to help with questions and clarifications before and during the build and they had a personal investment and pride in the overall outcome. The outcome is a warm and inviting family home that is a delight to live in and regularly gets words of praise from our visitors. I would use Tessellate again without a doubt.”

“Robert Mills, who was our Architect is an easy person to work with, nothing you asked of him was too much trouble. He listens to what you want, then designs and if he sees any improvements can be made, he will do them on the spot if you agree., His professional attitude, knowledge of the building regulations, and attention to detail is superb. He also has a great team of people who work with him both in his office and outside. The trades people he put us in touch with were also very professional and each trade did a fantastic job. It made the whole experience of building our home fun and exciting.”
