“Kawalek Architects (KA) designed and built a unique two family vacation home that not only was an instant show stopper, but ultimately was sold without listing. From the beginning they worked within budget. They started by listening and molding the owners design ideas to meet budget goals and then offered suggestions to further improve the concepts and address cost constraints. KA works incredibly well with the ARB (feedback from several ARB's has reinforced this strength) which greatly reduced rework and ego arguments. The project was completed on time and under budget for a reason -- KA carefully helped to coordinate the work of builders, various trades people, interior designers, landscapers and the owners to avoid inefficiencies. When the project was completed all trades and stakeholders agreed they would like to work together on another project. We have since engaged KA on several other small renovation projects and are currently working with them and the team on another vacation home.”
