“Mike at Premium was a tremendous help in the complete renovation and remodelling of several properties in Victoria. His expertise and knowledge of both the design and construction of a complex project like these helped make them all successful. There were many design decisions that were needed to maximize the usability of the space, as we transferred many of the properties into highly desirable rental suites. Our tenants loved the final designs. Mike's expertise about the the full project scope (design, permits, construction, market) prevented us from making costly mistakes, while also enhancing the properties in their completed state. We will continue to work with Mike, and can't recommend him enough. The projects that we completed with Mike yielded properties that were instantly rented to long term tenants.”

“Susanne Doise has worked for us as a designer and project manager, introducing contemporary ideas and good space solutions always with her touch of European flavor . We enlarged and modified the interior and exterior of the second floor of a 50 year old house into an open space concept mostly in the dining, sitting and kitchen area as well as the Master Bedroom quarters. Overall good work, within budget and complete understanding of our needs and lifestyle.”

“Minh Ta was introduced to us by our builder to help design out family home in Kitsilano Vancouver. We were using another architect for our previous home builds but was recommended Minh because he had extensive knowledge in home design and architecture for new Vancouver home builds. As you may or may not know, the building codes in Vancouver unique, difficult to understand and interpret into real life designs without incurring subjective review of the City of Vancouver. Rules are ever changing in Vancouver and having a competent and experienced architect is key to successfully submitting and passing a set of plans for your dream home in an efficiently timed manner. Our application process to final acceptance was almost exactly four months which had blown away previous estimates of year to year and half (advised to us by other friends who had build recently). The reason for this quick turnaround was due to Minhès knowledge and ability to create our dreams in a passable set of plans under the current building codes of the times. Minh is highly informative, helpful, a great listener and I would recommend him to anyone hoping to build their dream home.”

“Ian Roberts designed and built our new home for us and we are beyond thrilled with it! Not only was it amazing to work with one person from the very beginning right through to the end, but Ian's eye for detail resulted in a gorgeous and comfortable home. The project was virtually stress free for us as Ian oversaw every aspect. My husband and I described our dream house to Ian and he came through for us from concept to completion. Ian finished on time and on budget which seemed contrary to what everyone told us when we began the endeavor. We highly recommend Ian Roberts and Flashhouse and would not think twice about working with him again in the future!”

“I recently had the opportunity to work with Kevin on the transformation / renovation a 1985 built home - into a new contemporary dream home. It was a very challenging project! There was multiple new rooflines added, 3 new decks, a new front entrance, a cantilevered floor section, and a complete exterior alteration. The original home is unrecognizable. Kevin came highly recommended, and he's been an integral part of this project. Kevin was able to easily navigate through various ideas, and found very clever ways of adding all these onto the final plans. Impressive is his professionalism and quality workmanship. “I contracted Scott for his great drawing work and 3D renderings. For three years he was pivotal in a seven-million-dollar house project where his work helped the owner and me visualize areas of the home before they were built. His renderings were amazing in that we could see all aspects of the design in colour and scale. Together we developed scale drawings of furniture and cabinets as well as extensive metal work that the sub trades were able to use on their own CAD assisted machinery. The finished pieces are all in place in the client’s new home. Great work!!”
