“We hired Jeff Rice last year to work with us on designing our retirement home. He took our thoughts about what we wanted to have in our custom home and designed it better than we had imagined. He walked us through every part of the design process and what he came up with surpassed our dreams. Anytime we called with a question he would answer or meet with us. Jeff is very easy to talk to and excellent at designing and staying within your budget. Our house is in the building stage right now and we have gotten great comments on our design. We have given Jeff's name to a few people who were interested in working with him. Thanks Jeff, for our wonderful retirement home and we will continue to pass along JRN Design.”

“Steve Werner a partner at Shoreline designed our lake home in SC. I will never forget sitting with him before we began the project. I told him everything I wanted and everything I didn't want. I gave him inspiration photos and we talked about how we wanted the house to be used. He took detailed notes and asked the best questions. About 2 weeks later he set up an online meeting to show us what he had designed. I started to cry and he thought I was upset but I was crying because it was exactly the house I had in my mind. It had everything I had ever dreamed of and it was stunning. He was involved in every aspect of the build including some of the unique interior design features. He is professional and personable. He is a great listener and amazing problem solver. He is creative and detailed. I felt like he was able to see my vision and put it on paper and then follow through making sure it was done to his standard. We love our house. I would use him again and highly recommend him to anyone wanting something very special.”

“Excellent service. Understood our vision and crafted a beautiful design. Listened closely and then presented ideas. Patient. True partnership offering guidance as well as advice. Worked closely with contractor. Good communicator. Detailed design and blueprints were unambiguous and contractor and client easily understood the design. He easily communicated the vision to contractor and represented us well. Fees were fair. Results were beyond expectation but accurately reflected the drawings and blueprints.”

“We hired Ken Richmond to design a home for us about 14 years ago. There is not a day that goes by that we do not enjoy the artistry and innovation that he brought to the project. He was extremely attentive to what we wanted and amazingly creative in delivering beyond anything we asked. Earlier this year, we called upon Ken again as we tried to solve a difficult roofing challenge for a winter home in Florida. He came up with a novel and artful solution that both my husband and I just loved. We came to realize that any building project will never be better than the design, no matter how expertly crafted. Ken excels at artistic design. We give him our highest recommendation.”
