“Mario Tascone and his team designed the house that we are currently building. We went to him with a concept of what we wanted to achieve with the block that we had, and he developed our concept through several iterations to the final design. He then prepared all of the working drawings required for building approvals and for actual construction. We were very happy with the service provided by Mario and his team, if we challenged aspects of the design he was not defensive, but instead listened and took our comments into consideration for the next iteration of the design. We would have no hesitations in recommending the Tascone Design Team to anyone looking for a home designer.”

“Richard designed for us an extension to our 1917 weatherboard house. This incorporated an open plan living, dining and kitchen area which opens out to an alfresco area. Richard created an extension with the "wow" factor incorporating into the design some unusual features that were part of the brief. Richard is a passionate and creative designer who is solution focused. He was diligent, observant and considered in his role and we felt very supported by him throughout the whole build. We particularly enjoyed the "topping out" celebration he arranged for us and the building team when the last beam was placed in the roof. Thanks so much Richard for all your help with this project”

He has some great software tools that allow us to log in from our PC & go through our plans & updates over the internet. He has always been available to meet with us when we went to Perth even on weekends & after hours. Scott has a very keen attention to detail & brought together the plan we had in our mind & put it on paper, with a lot of great practical ideas. We have found him to be extremely personable & professional at all times & understanding or our personal & family needs. He has been great working towards our prescribed budget & has made a lot of effort to keep the project ticking along as we have a lot going on in our lives so it was easy to get off track & lose time. “We stumbled upon Arcologic Design by chance and we are so grateful that we did. After our first meeting with John Damant we knew we had the perfect architect for our difficult and challenging project. John was able to take the ideas we had in our heads, create a design that included everything on our wish list and then added in his touch (the real WOW factor) which resulted in a beautiful home. The canvas we gave John was a small steep sloping inner city block with amazing views. The brief included a heavy reliance on natural products, a low carbon footprint, a rain water tank and no air conditioning. Remarkably John was able to achieve this and within budget. Throughout the project John has been there to help and guide us. His instinct is uncanny and his professionalism exemplary. We highly recommend John Damant and Arcologic Design. “My husband and I came across David's website and his profile on Houzz when we were looking to build our coastal home. We immediately loved David's work and some of his designs and ideas he displayed on the sites. We contacted him and found that we were all 'on the same page' as far as the potential for our site. We were very interested in having an eco-friendly design and maximising the northern aspect for light, warmth and cooling where appropriate throughout the seasons. David's knowledge, experience and enthusiasm was excellent in this regard. We loved David from the start, he was really good at listening to what we wanted and transferring our ideas to a fantastic design that we immediately fell in love with. He was very consultative and supportive with any ideas we had whilst being realistic in relation to the costs involved or any practical changes needed. David was excellent at suggesting alternative materials or design to keep costs down but keeping our overall dreams a reality. A really helpful service from our point of view was being able to share our Ideas Book on Houzz with David. This allowed him to analyse our overall taste and establish the look we were after for our new home. We simply saved lots of ideas that he was able to expand on when we met. This ensured he understood what materials, style and look we were after which was so much easier than trying to verbally explain it - a picture tells a thousand words as they say. I would thoroughly recommend David Wilkes to anyone wanting their new home or renovation designed. David is very experienced and has some great ideas, ideas we would not have thought of had he not suggested them. We are really excited to be working with David and can't wait to show off his great design when the home is finished.
