“We hired Jae Studios in 2014 on a referral from a friend. We are extremely pleased with the professional work we received from start to finish. We undertook a tear-down project on a challenging lot in Northern California. Jae's experience was a huge asset to our project as he knew how to provide the optimal design for a house on a sloping lot.
At the beginning of the project Jae met with us and asked us what we wanted in a dream house. He let us first provide examples of what we were looking for and then he provided some guidance and supplemented our vision with some of his past projects. We appreciated his openness to our ideas as well as his recommendations on how to improve on them.
Also, his depth of experience in the home building business was invaluable, as he provided feedback on how to build the best possible house while making sure that we constructed a house that maintained maximum value for a possible future resale. Additionally, Jae was very responsive to our plan changes and was very attentive to the details in our recommendations. Lastly, and most importantly, Jae was efficient when it came time to get the permit from our city. He had a strong knowledge of what was being requested from the city and was able to satisfy all the requests in a timely manner.
Bottom line, we feel very lucky Jae helped us with our house and we would recommend him to anyone!”
Galvan Floors

“We purchased 2 one-bedroom condos in downtown Fort Worth, demolished them and created a new 2,200 sq ft space with a large kitchen and 2 and 1/2 baths. Galvan Floors did all of the tile work in the baths and the kitchen. Their work was excellent and very thorough. The tile for the two baths was Lefka White by Happy Floors; we used large 20" x 20" tiles for the floors,12" x 24" horizontal laid tiles for a bath surround and 4" x 24" vertical laid tiles for a large shower. Mosaic tiles were used for the shower floor and a niche in the bath tub area. The installers were able to maximize the subtle pattern or grain of the tiles and did an excellent job with the installation. Laurent Brown Marble was straight laid on the 1/2 bath floor. For the kitchen back-splash we installed straight laid 3" x 6" glass tile by Ann Sacks. After all of the work was done, we had two problems to resolve and they were resolved quickly by Galvan Floors. The large shower in the master bath didn't drain properly. The installers removed portions of the mosaic tile floor, re-muddied the floor and reinstalled the mosaic, promptly with no charge. The installers re-installed some of the glass tile in the kitchen when another installer accidentally split the glass trying to install the vent hood above the stove. The installers were prompt with coming to the site in both instances to resolve the issues.”

Jake was thorough in his method. He interviews us both initially, and dialogued several times to refine our thoughts about the design and purpose. He took care to integrate his design with the original architecture while aiming to maintain costs within affordable parameters.
