“We first drove through the Cottages in September 2015. We knew instantly that this was the place for us. The sidewalks on both sides of the street, beautiful landscaping, sufficient parks and open spaces, wide welcoming porches, all wrapped around 3 heavily treed ponds, combined to create a neighborhood like no other that we’d seen. After touring the Seaside model, we went straight to the office to sign papers.
The build of the house was well planned and well executed. We met for a day with the Cottages staff to go through selections and customizations. A project manager was assigned early in the build process, and this person made sure that the details decided during the selection step were accurately implemented. A walk through with the project manager was done at roughly the half way point, to make sure everyone was on the same page. The project manager kept an eye on things throughout, and this reduced the likelihood of errors, and made for a very small punch list as the project wound down. The project came in on time, and on budget.
The house turned out perfect. We love everything about it. Thanks to Scott and Michelle Cook, and the rest of the Cottages staff for doing such a wonderful job on our house.”

“David has been a breathe of fresh air in a field that proves to be unreliable. He's done numerous repairs to my condo inside and out, from windows, doors to siding and roofing repairs. He's responsive and has proven to be honest and fair. A recent call to David was a bit of an emergency as the ample rain left a existing door leaking. I emailed David and he responded that day. He set up to come by himself to evaluate the situation and promptly made the repair. That's uncommon in this home building/remodeling industry.”

“Bud Blanton is the consummate builder. He has built over 130 houses in our beautiful neighborhood of Landfall. - Recently we moved into "our last and best" house ever - custom built for us by Bud Blanton! It is the perfect indoor-outdoor living house.
We were so impressed by Bud's professionalism, knowledge of what is "on the market" today (so he made wonderful suggestions to us - which were excellently incorporated into our new house - such as paint colors, building materials, best pool construction, and landscape professionals )- From the very beginning, when he helped us choose the best property available for our budget and needs, through the whole process, it was a pleasure to work with him.
When my husband fell and was badly injured,, the night before we moved in (!), I called Bud at 6 a.m. - and he sent his son over to help us! - In many other instances Bud was a lifesaver and went way beyond the "call of duty" of a builder!
We are now enjoying our new house - of 3,600 square feet, one-story (with a complete FROG ), swimming pool, and many additional features suggested for us (my husband who is 85 years and myself at age 74). This house is perfect now and will continue to be as we "age". It is truly our dream home.
