“Staveley undertook the renovations to our home last year (2015). It is a Victorian property and needed major upgrading. We had two new bathrooms and one WC put in, the house rewired and a new central heating system fitted and the roof area insulated. We had artex removed from several ceilings which they were able to do without damping the originally cornicing. We had structural work done to the kitchen area (extended and steel beam fitted) and a new kitchen fitted. The job proved challenging due to houses age and state, but they appeared not to be phased by its challenges and were solution focuses in their approach. I found them to be professional with good advice and ideas. Would recommend.”

“The project involved expanding an existing modern extension (with utility and sun room) at the side of a Victorian house, forward into garden space to create a completely new and substantial additional shower room. Access from the existing utility was created via the previous conventional boiler housing. A new combi boiler was fitted on a side wall, after a reroute of the gas supply. The utility, formerly very basic, was completely upgraded to current building standards, rewired, plumbed, and fitted. The tiled shower room floor was extended throughout the utility. The extension was also re-roofed. Though not a large project, it was technically challenging. The results have nonetheless been wholly successful.
Green Olive delivered a thoroughly professional service across all trades, both in-house and subcontracted. The quality of work has been excellent in all aspects. Scheduling was always clearly indicated in advance, and project communications were frequent, helpful and friendly. There was step-by-step consultation on detail, and the project was closely overseen by the company. A potentially disruptive build was made much easier by a skilled, courteous and pleasant group of tradesmen. The condition of the site inside and out was constantly monitored, and at the conclusion of the project the shower room and utility were professionally cleaned.
The cost of the project was entirely competitive and estimates both accurate and fulfilled. At no point was quality compromised for the sake of economy, in fact it has been very clear to us that Green Olive have a notably strong commitment to quality, and to client satisfaction in general. On the basis of this project we’d recommend the company without hesitation to other potential clients, and were we engaged in further projects, we’d undoubtedly engage Green Olive again.”
