“We contracted Quaker Custom Homes to demolish our old house as well as design and build our new house. They worked closely with us throughout the process, advising us on alternatives and providing suggestions. We are very appreciative to have had Mrs. Diane Moser's guidance from beginning to end. She is not only a wonderful person but very knowledgeable on all kinds of issues. The builders accommodated our design changes whenever possible. Their construction is very solid and of the highest quality. The entire process from demolition to move-in date took seven months. We are thoroughly enjoying our new home. We strongly recommend them without hesitation.”

“Mike was our construction manager during our house teardown and rebuild from 2009-2010. Mike said it would only take one year and he delivered! Mike provided excellent contractors for us to choose from and the only time we had issues was when we didn’t follow his advice. Mike is very experienced and had all the right answers to the difficult questions. Mike was more than fair, dependable and respectful of our time. Hiring Mike as our construction manager as opposed to our general contractor meant that we were responsible for negotiating the contracts with the various sub-contractors that Mike supplied. This is the way we wanted it and it worked really well because Mike was with us every step of the way. His advice was priceless. We have been in our house 5.5 years and have had no issues. The ultimate compliment that one can give to a builder is that you would use them again. We would definitely hire Mike again and could not recommend him more highly.”

“E&L is an extremely professional company with a friendly feel. They have completed 2 projects for me. I got 4 bids for my first job last Spring when I had 2 bathrooms remodeled, one of which evolved quite a bit of moving plumbing and electrical. The second project of a third bathrooms was completed in September. I did’t even get other bid for that because I knew who I wanted to do the job.”

“We had severe damage due to frozen/burst pipes; we took our entire house down to studs. Chesapeake Services came in and restored our house well beyond it's original state. They took the lead in working with the insurance company, and helped us recoup damages we would never have been aware of. Their team did floors, kitchen cabinets, counters, and appliance, plumbing, electrical, painting, and finish work. They also did a fantastic job cutting, installing, and finishing a custom bar crafted from a fairly expensive wood flitch. Perhaps most importantly, they listened to us and worked collaboratively with us to make design decisions that we were happy with both aesthetically and financially. Their ability to work on every aspect of the restoration made a difficult process much easier, and we are thrilled with the outcome.”
