“We hired Bill to build our house in 2012.We are delighted with the outcome. Bill worked with high quality contractors and recommended a great designer. He had great attention to detail and addressed any concerns promptly and thoroughly. Our house was completed within the given time frame. As manager, Bill could have paid closer attention to the invoices, as some overcharging was not caught until our review. All in all, we would hire Bill again. We have a very high quality house, thanks to the attention he put into it.”

“We hired Candel Custom Homes to do a complete renovation of the main floor of our house. Having dealt with contractors for many years in commercial venues, I was very happy that Candel was not only reliable but also trustworthy, professional, honest and delivered on excellent workmanship and customer service. Candel’s employees cleaned up the house every day, both Kevin and Randy are excellent communicators in that they addressed issues that needed to be addressed right away and were upfront about the costs during the project. In my experiences, contractors don’t always tell you the full costs of a renovation in order to get the job. With Randy and Kevin, they were upfront with these estimated and potential costs at the beginning of the project and so there were no surprises. This is a very rare and good quality that Candel has that sets them above and beyond the competition. “Had an excellent business relationship. We hired them to work with us through the design and build of our custom home. Their staff was very good to work with and very willing to to have us work along side them during the process. They are experienced with green build, ecofriendly homes and were willing to embrace our research on new technology. We were able to visit several of their other projects and interview their clients. The trades they employed were all of high quality. There were challenges during the build, but that is to be expected. Ritchie Custom Homes has been very good at listening to our concerns and worked hard to ensure that any problems were fixed to our satisfaction. They remained on our strict budget with only minor prompting and were very good at sharing clear information re: costs and building problems as they came up. If you want the home that is right for you, RCH has lots of knowledge, but stay involved so there is less chance for misunderstanding.”
