“We hired EPC to remodel two bathrooms and the entryway to our house in Ventura. Gary and Jesse were upbeat and nice to work with. Their skilled staff were all courteous, reliable, efficient, and non-smokers. They were perfectionists and took pride in their work. We are very happy with the quality of the workmanship and the price we paid. Our only minor complaint is that the staff were spread pretty thin across EPC jobs, with our project taking nearly 4 months to complete (longer than projected).”

“We received several quotes from contractors, some of whom tried to up sell or told us we couldn't do what we had envisioned and would need a completely different floor plan. But most were very pleasant and 3 came in at approximately the same bid price of 48,000. In the end, we chose IND Construction because we liked David and believed he would do what he said he would do. In the beginning David told us the job would take between 2 and 4 months to complete and it ended up taking a little over 2 months. Their were a few glitches along the way, such as finding that the wall we knocked out was in fact a retaining wall after the engineer had said that it wasn't. Or when a member of one work crew knocked our driveway gate out of the wall and just propped it back up without telling us. But as soon as any problem was encountered David had it fixed immediately, including figuring out how to put a giant beam across our ceiling to replace the retaining wall at no extra charge. Living in a construction zone for 2 months is never pleasant but the majority of subcontractors used by IND are very professional, clean and friendly. This made the experience better than expected. We would definitely work with David and his team again and we are very pleased with how well everything turned out.”

“I had my bathroom completely remodeled through ECO design PRO. Ori Sakal and his workers removed my bathtub liner and replaced it with a stand up shower. They also installed tile on the walls and floor as well as a new double sink vanity. All The materials were purchased by me with the guide and advises of Ori Sakal. Ori told me the process would take a 2-3 weeks. It took almost 3 weeks and that's due to some previous work that was done by my plumber in which he did a few things wrong and Ori had to fix them. Ori Sakal did a good job and the new bathroom came out more than I expected and it showed me that there are great contractors that can do a good job at reasonable priced.”

“When our committee interviewed the architects and the contractors it was apparent to us that Forest Construction Co. and Jim Thayer Architect was a good match. They had worked together before so that was a plus. Forest Construction selected a Superintendent that was a perfect fit for project. Forest Construction save us money by suggesting better ways to do particular jobs, and looked out for us in many ways. Their management and employee were very respectful and courteous. They did all the city interfacing which was a big help. We would have meeting every two weeks or when needed and the owner (Jim Rice and Ernesto Sepulveda) would attend frequently. They built a 17,000 sq feet church Sanctuary with bathrooms, kitchen, nurseries and Sunday school rooms.”

“We did a full kitchen remodel, gutting the existing and replacing everything. We did not move walls. The project supervisor had a timeline worked out in advance, at my request. I have built and remodeled several properties but this project moved fast and efficiently - about 8weeks from gut to being able to use the space. There was not a day where something significant was not accomplished. Furthermore, the quality of the work is superb. All the subcontractors are experienced, skillful and work to a high standard. They respect and value their relationship with the construction company and so the project supervisor was able to hold his subcontractors to the timeline. Budgetwise, we knew going into it what the costs would be and there were few unanticipated costs or changes due to very thorough preparation prior to demolition.This is the way projects should roll. I highly recommend Steven Stilwell Construction”
