“We spoke with numerous builders and started our building project with one other builder before finally finding Freese Custom Homes, and are so glad that we found them and decided to have them build our home. Todd was amazing to work with from the very beginning planning process all the way through to following up after we moved into our home. Instead of working with an architect, we had Freese Custom Homes design our house based on some ideas we had and are incredibly happy with the floorplan and design we ended up with, not to mention the cost savings over using an architect. Todd was able to design a house that was laid out just like we wanted, and also made sense from a builder's perspective so there were no architectural surprises during the building process. Communication throughout the build was great, which was very important as hiccups related to covid supply issues arose. Todd was able to work around all of the issues that came up and found reasonable alternatives when the selections we chose were no longer available. The end product is above our expectations and we couldn't be happier about how it turned out. If I had another building project in the future, Todd would be my first choice without hesitation.”

“We hired this company in 1991 to custom build our 3200 square foot home. This is a family owned business and at that time was owned and operated by Mike Ritzman's mom and dad. They were terrific. They were on time, they were pleasant and they even returned some of our money. In the ensuing years I have had them remodel a rental property I have, plus a $30,000 repair when a large tree fell onto the roof. A couple of years ago I had them build a custom garage of about 1550 feet. This is the $50,000 - $100,000 listed in this review. Once again they did it on time and on budget. I wouldn't go anywhere else for work, whether new construction or a remodel.”

We hired them for roof replacement, attic insulation, and skylight installation. Bruce took the time to talk us through different options and their costs and helped us choose the right option for our house. Bruce’s communication is excellent (texts, emails, in-person - as the situation and customer requires). We are very happy with their work and would recommend them.”

“We just completed a major 6 month remodel with Ventana, including the addition of a master bedroom/bathroom/closet, a guest bedroom, a new kitchen, and a makeover of our living room/dining room. Sixty percent of our house is completely new! We have utilized various contractors over the years, and working with Ventana was a complete pleasure. The quality of the workmanship was outstanding, the crew and subs were courteous and thorough, the communications were prompt and clear, the invoices were detailed and easy to understand, and Ventana constantly collaborated with us on ways to make the project better than planned. “I have both Sold and Listed New Homes for Sapphire Home NW. I have been selling and listing New Homes since 1988 working with several New Home builders. What I appreciate most about Sapphire is their commitment to their Tag Line "Built to Last". Most folks never get to see what is behind the walls, these homes are built very well. Two other areas that are important to both me and my clients is the effort that Sapphire goes to in an effort to make a sale happen and make it a good experience, they are very fair to deal with, this is unusual for most Home Builders in my opinion. Next is what happens after the sale, Customer Service and Follow up are the Best I have experienced. With other Home Builders I have dealt with Customer Service is often an after thought and it means I have to hound them to satisfy my clients, not the case with Sapphire, they get it done, they want satisfied customers and they do deliver. I highly recommend Sapphire Homes if you are looking to purchase a New Home.”

“We used Scott Homes to design and build a 5 bedroom house on the Washington Coast. The house is used both as a vacation rental and as a family vacation spot. There were several requirements that needed to be met, and Scott Homes met all of them with ease. One of those was it needed to be a green building and they are experts in using SIPS panels which give the house a great feel. They are also really good people, honest and helpful. I loved how they allowed us complete say where we wanted it in coming up with design & hammering out details, but offered ideas/experience where we needed it, also offering wonderful subcontractors and suppliers. They stayed exactly on target from a time and budget standpoint. I would recommend them highly.”
