“I am writing this unqualified recommendation on behalf of Mont Hartman, with whom my wife and I have worked closely over the past year on what became a major residential renovation project in Sarasota, FL.
Mont Hartman assumed the role of Project Manager soon after we designed and contracted for what was then planned to be a limited condominium remodel. Mont brought himself “up to speed” quickly and then reached out to us to meet and refine our goals and the scope of our project. Throughout our renovation Mont was responsive, respectful and creative. His vision, team leadership, broad range of knowledge in all areas of our project (design, permitting, electrical, plumbing, cabinetry, counters, tile, flooring, painting, electronics, etc.) and problem-solving skills were the critical factors that have led to a wonderful outcome with which we are very pleased.
As is often the case, our project changed and expanded as we proceeded. Mont handled these modifications smoothly and efficiently and with good humor. Mont also needed to deal with some unusual additional challenges. The project was undertaken in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic with resultant difficulties in coordination and supervision of subcontractors, supply chain disruptions and safety concerns. In addition, the bulk of this renovation was undertaken remotely, since our primary residence during this project was in NYC. Nevertheless, Mont was able to keep us well-informed and involved on all aspects of the project with his regular texts, detailed emails, pictures and FaceTime calls.
We feel fortunate to have worked with Mont and his team. Their work ethic, experience, integrity, skills, maturity and advocacy are exceptional. We are pleased to recommend Mont Hartman and his team enthusiastically and without reservation.”

“It is my pleasure to recommend Perrone Construction who was the general contractor for a remodeling project on the exterior of my house in the fall of
2012.
The scope of the remodeling involved building addition to our house (outside kitchen) with a roof and electric.
The project took 8 weeks and involved several work crews (carpenters, roofing) plus electricians.
While major remodeling is inherently stressful for almost any homeowner, Perrone services as a general contractor were invaluable, and I am extremely pleased with the final result.
Specifically, Ricky Perone - I would give top marks in the following areas:
1. Quality of work performed. The quality of work done was consistently top notch. Ricky used subcontractors who were knowledgeable, skilled, and competent in their respective trades. They were conscientious about following project specifications, and their work product rarely needed improvement or revision.
2. Quality of work crews. Other than one relatively minor exception which Ricky Perrone promptly addressed once I brought it to his attention. I also found them to be trustworthy, and my wife and I felt comfortable with allowing them access inside our home.
His excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills and commitment to follow-through are assets which enabled him to juggle the extensive details involved in our project without missing a beat.
Ricky’s familiarity with building codes and dealing with city hall also facilitated a smooth and a hassle-free process when it came to building permits and inspection.”
