“Will came recommended. He organised our building work (from measuring up, giving advice/suggesting alternative options, ordering materials, to fitting the aluminium fascias and spray-painting the window frames) and saw the job through from start to finish in the most professional way. Will and his colleague Sam are reliable, unobtrusive and left the site clean and tidy at the end of every day. Will communicates well. He successfully liaises with third parties (for example, scaffolders, rubbish clearance) which allows the job to flow smoothly. Will’s workmanship is excellent. He is meticulous and has an eye for detail which results in an excellent finish. I would happily use Will again and would thoroughly recommend him.”

“We used Tommy and his team, Fixup, on the recent refurbishment of our family home. We now have an amazing four bedroom home, with a new ensuite and perfect family ground floor living. They converted an old garage into a new kitchen and extended the back of the property to allow for a sitting room and dining area with a new downstairs loo. We also have new bedroom wardrobes they they made and fitted. Tommy was great to work with and problem solve design solutions that best suited our needs and budget. The team have a high standard and work around any problems that arise. The team had to work around us living in the space for the end of the project and kept the working areas clean and safe for our children. We also worked with an architect that the company had work with on previous projects, this relationship was one that I would recommend as they knew each other. The Fixup team had lots of patience as we had a few delays due to party wall agreements etc. We love the end result of our home and this was the result of working so closely with Tommy. We have recommended him to other friends and will continue to do so. My daughter said that "Tommy worked really hard, he is very clever, does everything right and he was very nice, they did a pretty good job" May aged 6.”

“We cannot speak highly enough of I D Smith Construction Services. We instructed them to fully refurbish our 1930s semi with the addition of a single storey extension. The project included new external render, full rewire, replumb, fresh plastering, new roof, bespoke carpentry, new gravel driveway, new kitchen and new bathrooms amongst many other items. There's not much these guys can't turn their hands to. We found Ian and his team a pleasure to deal with. They were reliable and trustworthy and most importantly delivered an excellent finish throughout. As is inevitable with major building work we did incur additional, unforeseen costs but these were reasonable and proportionate and Ian kept us informed throughout. What we loved in particular was Ian's ability to find solutions to any problems we encountered. His calmness throughout the project helped keep our stress levels down. We hope to work with Ian, Kieron, Phil and Stuart again in the future (possibly a patio) once we have saved up! Highly recommended.”
