“We hired this company in 1991 to custom build our 3200 square foot home. This is a family owned business and at that time was owned and operated by Mike Ritzman's mom and dad. They were terrific. They were on time, they were pleasant and they even returned some of our money.
In the ensuing years I have had them remodel a rental property I have, plus a $30,000 repair when a large tree fell onto the roof.
A couple of years ago I had them build a custom garage of about 1550 feet. This is the $50,000 - $100,000 listed in this review. Once again they did it on time and on budget. I wouldn't go anywhere else for work, whether new construction or a remodel.”

The CREW - they were fabulous!!! We were able to come by the site almost every day for a status update and to tweak any changes or answer any questions. Their ability to communicate any issues as they arose, allowed us to make quick decisions, not losing any time to delays. AS a result they completed the project on time and within budget!!!!!!!!!
They used subcontractors that they have longstanding relationships with so they were able to execute the job in a timely and very professional manner. The quality of work was of the highest levels. Their cabinet shop did all of our cabinets and closets which is beautiful.
They had never worked with our architect, Prentiss, but they were able to execute to plan and work out any issues quickly and easily. WE had a very complicated house with tricky components that they executed very well.
Warranty - can't say enough about their after completion work. A couple of things have developed as a result of summer and winter expansions/contractions. I would make a call and they would be here to fix it at no charge within a day of the phone call. Their service is terrific!
I am including pictures of the house while it was under construction so you can see how they put some things together.
So if you want a company that does High quality, beautiful, on time and on budget work - call Dovetail!!!!”
