“We have completed a "whole home" renovation with MyHouse - and we continue to be thrilled with both our results and our followup care and attention. The attention to detail, the professional standards, and the client focus were all we could ask for. While in a job of this magnitude there were the inevitable hiccups, any issue was dealt with promptly and to our complete satisfaction. Communication skills are excellent and since this is the fourth house we've either built or remodeled, we should know. The goal of the company is to help you visualize what the house will look like, your options, how it will set on the lot, and what finishes would look best for the type of house you are building and your budget. “Steve and his crew at Made to Last Building Renovations did the installation of our commercial millwork in the Shaw Retail store in Victoria. The project was very complex containing wood columns, hanging wood bulkheads, oversize wood panels that needed to be scribed to drywall. Steve and his team had no difficulty with this install and executed it to a high level of quality. Communication was really good, they answer their phones when I need to get a hold of them and they are proactive on updating us on the status of the job. We are based out of Calgary AB, so it can be difficult to manage a job from out of town, Made to Last pretty well managed the entire install of the project. Billing and was fair and professionally done and there were no change order surprises. We would most certainly use Made to Last Building Renovations again in the future and are happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a solid, honest, quality oriented contractor.”

“With a growing family we got to the point that we needed to start looking for a bigger home that would suit our family and budget. We were quite happy to buy an existing home if we could find the right place. At the same time, we figured it wouldn’t hurt to look into building a new home if we could get some decent square footage to fit our budget. We looked around and found a piece of property that we liked. We called Raymond Faber from West Coast Homes to discuss our options and he immediately earned our trust. He put some drawings together (without cost) and discussed our options for pricing and layout. As time went by we got ‘cold feet’ on the property. Raymond was extra patient with us as we went looking for another piece of property. When we finally found another (pricier) property in town that we liked, it was back to the drawing board to see if we could still build a decent sized home to stay within out budget. Raymond did an amazing job of laying out a home that appealed to us. He gave excellent advice on how to save cost, so much so, that we ended up having room in the budget to add a full-sized unfinished basement. What a dream to have all that extra room to move into down the road! During the construction phase we had a wonderful experience. The trades that West Coast used were very friendly, helpful and willing to give advice when we were visiting the job site. There were times when Raymond would offer suggestions to change things on the go to add functionality – all done without extra change orders. We would build with Raymond and West Coast Homes again in a heartbeat. They are honest, patient, reliable and hard-working. Thank-you, Raymond and crew for a great job!”
