“Clark Johnson and Apex Mt Homes were selected by my wife and me from many contractors we knew in the area. Clark has done over 100 projects in the area and we loved the mountain look and the attention to detail as well energy saving methods Clark uses. In addition he brought us very innovative
building methods, including Revit and pre-cut framing, yet still totally custom design that saved us 10's of thousands of dollars. The process was fun and creative.
What we liked was a home that was grander, warmer in feel, and repeatedly receives comments from guests who say great things about the beauty, livability, great layout, and attention to mountain views.
We also particularly appreciated the transparent budgeting and expense tracking system that kept our tension level very low. We moved in a month early, below budget. We would gladly build with Clark and his team again.
We also found that the relationship was oriented primarily on what we wanted. The team repeatedly showed great ability at creatively getting us unique solutions and attributes that we wanted without breaking the budget.”

“Tom Elliott's crew did a fantastic job on finishing our log home! They showed up as scheduled and went right to work. Each member of the crew went right to work on their specific job. Blasting, sanding and finish work were all completed in a little over 2 weeks. Oil base finish was applied in 2 separate coats with a day or so in between each coat. Generously applied and brushed in, it transformed our house into a work of art. Glossy shine and beautiful look! I only wish I had heard of Tom and his company earlier. It would have saved a lot of hassle with an inferior finisher and product. Now our home is shining beautiful and will be so for years to come. Many thanks to Tom and the boyz that were here doing the job. A very professional and hard working, knowledgeable crew. They explained every step of their work and helped me understand the process of refinishing logs. I highly recommend Tom's company. His rates are very reasonable and the quality of work incredible.”
