My kitchen, although large in size, was hopelessly outdated, and the way that it was set-up, made cooking and cleaning-up more difficult than it should have been. Additional counter space was added as well as a custom island. Andreas also worked with me to design all new kitchen cabinets and had them especially made. I now have the walnut cabinets that I’ve always wanted! “Our 2014 renovation is the third building project we have done with Arrowtown. Aside from the quality construction work they do, what I particularly like about this company is that they really listened to us and then followed up on our requests regarding the project. This time we were adding another building to the property and we wanted it to look like it was built in the same style as the original. Except for the fact that we have not yet done the landscaping around the new structure you would think it was built at the same time as the original structures on the property. They were also very good at working with the local permit office, which can be a challenge.”

“Ray Construction has been a fabulous find in the tough market of Silicon Valley! They are: -Accommodating: Changed things with minimal fuss to meet new design direction. -Experienced: Did a major remodel based on preliminary architectural concept drawings when we were dropped by an architect mid-design. He guided us through various design decisions and put us in touch with the appropriate experts to make all the interior design decisions (lightning, bathroom layout, etc). - Attention to detail: Especially with wood work (cabinets, trim, roofing, etc) The principal is a master carpenter, and does that detail work himself. - Very easy to work with. A pleasure to have around. We’re almost sorry to see him leave at end of project, but thrilled to have our space transformed! - Highest Integrity. Absorbed the cost of an “error" without complaint, and insisted on doing the correction even though we thought we could live with it.”

“Working with Josh Gage Construction was a breeze. Josh and his team were actively on the job from day one to completion. I never felt that he was juggling jobs or that he had a higher priority job than mine. He did have other projects but his team was onsite daily to completion. Josh worked with me to make a 100 miscellaneous decisions as the job progressed. His advice was practical and well considered. “In 2017, we lost our house in the Tubbs Fire and frankly we didn't know what to do next. About a month after we lost our house afterwards we had the chance to meet both David and Eric Keith as they shared free advice on how to move forward in the entire process at an outdoor meeting. The first meeting with them was not about signing up with them as the builder, but to provide advice about the process with FEMA, Building Permits, Architects, Engineering firms and etc....Nowhere, did they try to sell their services because their mission was to support the neighborhood since their uncle and father were the original builders of the neighborhood in 1999. Knowing their father personally was a plus, he and his wife use to live in the neighborhood and our initial trust was with the father who has the highest values. We knew the apples didn't fall far from the tree when we became to know the sons better. We were proud to be the first clients to sign a contract with Sonoma County Builders and never looked back. Their guidance and support got us into being one first fire survivors on our block to break ground. All along the way, I watched this team grow from basically being two brothers, to a full team of skilled, knowledgable, and customer focused builders. The addition of their brother, sister in law, Sierra and Jessie made team outstanding. The key metrics were, the team was on budget, followed the building codes to the letter of the law, did not cut any corners and had skilled sub contractors underneath them who did excellent work. The team was on time and on budget and thanks to them we were able to build our house in less than 9 months and be back in our home before Christmas of 2018. The team surprised us and actually came to help us hang pictures and give us christmas cheer. I always believe that it's not just what you do, but how you do it. So here it is in a nutshell, they were professional, skilled, ethical, approachable and friendly.”
