Christie was extremely communicative throughout the whole process and brought many ideas to me which stretched my imagination. I receive many compliments on both the office space and my apartment which she worked on both.

Carmelle Interiors turned our tiny 10’x12’ kitchen into an 18’x24’ gourmet kitchen and great room. Expanding our kitchen by removing a single wall and unused hallway was her brainchild. We now have a gorgeous high-end kitchen that flows into a beautiful dining room, as well as an expansive living area. It is so much easier (and enjoyable) to entertain guests and host family gatherings now. Christie also remodeled our guest powder room, and it is truly exquisite. Her attention to detail is amazing! From faucets to fixtures to flooring, Christie’s inspiration is contagious! She knows how to make a room look larger with her selection and placement of colors, materials, and furnishings. Because of her excellent work in the past, we have now given Carmelle Interiors carte blanche in planning and remodeling our master bedroom and bath. Christie is well deserving of a five-star rating.

Christie's work is amazing beyond words. She turned my empty space into a magical home that brings me joy every time I walk in. I bought a 3bd condo in Marina and was so busy I had no time to decorate, and was sleeping on an air bed in a big place. Christie came in, assessed the place, spent time with me to understand what I liked/etc and systematically walked me through the process of decorating the entire place. She works so hard (does she ever sleep?), is highly organized, so creative, and always goes above and beyond. She has a great contractor who did awesome work and she made sure of it.

Christie first helped me redesign my bedroom. I was stuck and she helped me reimagine the whole thing! I moved about a year later and she helped me with my new apartment as well. She helped me first figure out my overall vision and then focus on it, one piece at a time (in line with my budget). I was so grateful to have found her and she is always my first call for any design question, big or small. She has fantastic taste but is an excellent listener and her desire is to help you design what you really want. It's a gift that she has for sure! I'm glad she's in this world. I would be sitting in a room with [only] a blue wall if it wasn't for her!

I had no idea what to give my son for a Christmas gift...I live in Cincinnati, Ohio and he lives in Los Angeles, California. When I visited him, I was astounded by the conditions of the room he rented with five other buddies from UCLA, so I asked Christie Carmelle, a designer friend of my son to help me redesign the room. He needed a storage space most of all. Christie worked with Mike to discover his wall color and furniture preferences. Within a couple weeks, walls were painted, carpet cleaned, furniture assembled, curtains hung. The room was transformed from college mania to a sleek, cool gray/blue design with lots of concealed storage for clothing and all his guy stuff. Christie worked within my budget and even let me make decisions on furniture items from my home computer. Christie has before and after pictures of the room conversion. I would highly recommend her for a design project!

Christie is amazing!!! I contacted her after moving into a new spot in Santa Monica. It's a rental and I wanted to dress it up without overspending on improvements that I could not transfer to my next place. Christie understood exactly what I was looking for and walked me through a process which resulted in an interior design that exceeded my expectations. She is patient, professional, and truly gifted. We stayed on budget and the process was fun! I couldn't recommend her more highly.
