Contemporary Stonescapes is a family owned and operated masonry company dedicated to giving life to Stonework. For over 23 years, Contemporary Stonescapes meticulous attention to detail has resulted in some of Long Island’s most elegant outdoor creations. From building pool patios, and lovingly crafted veneer panels in stone and brick to retaining wall design, brick driveway and walkways. From stoops and steps, to waterfalls and built-in outdoor kitchens. With a landscape architect on staff, we design and carry out distinctive projects and incorporate the landscape to the masonry design. Each masonry construction & design is customized just for you and designed to beautify your most valued possession… your home, or place of business. Our touch is unmistakable, uncompromising and constant personal attention at all stages of the work ensures that the quest for beauty is always matched with unerring mechanical and technical execution. We are ICPI Certified Installers (Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute) as well as fully licensed and insured in both Suffolk and Nassau Counties.

Used them twice. . First time they did a good job on my front stoop. 2nd time while doing my driveway their steam roller malfunctioned and put deep grooves in the blacktop. They rushed the job since the blacktop kept being delivered and had to be put down asap since it was hot. I had to call the owner Avi to come back and fix the rough areas and grooves. I guess this was aceptible to them. They corrected some but it still showed a lot of defects. Because their equipment malfunctioned ,my driveway job was subpar. Why? Since then I have turned a few people away from using them and have since moved to a house that needs a huge patio this summer.....your loss Contemporary

We are sorry to learn from the review that you were'nt happy with the end result of the blacktop project that was done on June of 2012, almost 4 years ago.
As you emphasis, you were happy with the first project, stoop project.
Unfortunately, nothing was done deliberately, it was an accident, the roller broke in the middle of pouring the blacktop, we did try to correct the rough areas, as you mentioned.
We are taking lots of pride in our work,for almost 25 years, our goal is customer satisfaction. Hope we can be to your help in other projects. Have a great Summer.

I hired Stonescape to build : 1. Cover for the whole house from culture stones 2. Large patio ,3000 sf 3. Outdoor kitchen with a pergola 4. Mix of blacktop and stone design driveway and a path to the front door The job was done on time The service was very accommodating in terms of changes, consulting of materials, and colors. And the performance was extraordinaire After 8 years ,2 major storms and a careful design , everything is still in place, and looks beautiful . Thank you Stonescape for outstanding job!

Needed pavers around my in-ground pool. After receiving several estimates and hearing rave reviews from previous customers of Contemporary Stonescapes I decided to go with them. Needless to say I was very happy I did! The job came out beautiful, the workers were very professional and great to work with. I would recommend them to anyone. A very satisfied customer.

Comentado: Help! Need suggestions for front garden!You can try to use paving stone for the walkway, make it at least 5" wide, to give it a grand entrance, on both sides of the walkway you can make a nice border design in like herring bone shape. ...

Comentado: Landscape and hardscape ideas Please!You might think of taking down the bushes, widen the walkway, make it more like a grand entrance. You might think of planting some perennial plants to add color. It is going to be beautiful!!!!
