Lifestyle Landscapes is a custom residential design/build firm located in Seattle. When homeowners Roger and Peggy Franklin decided to hire a professional landscaper they were disenchanted with the level of service they received from prospective landscape design and installation companies. “We were prepared to make a serious investment in our outdoor living space and we couldn’t even get landscaping companies to return our call,” remembers Peggy. As experienced entrepreneurs, Roger and Peggy quickly recognized the need for a landscape design and installation firm that provided quality landscaping services to discerning homeowners throughout the Puget Sound. They decided to establish a landscaping organization that exceeded the expectations of the client, enhanced the client’s lifestyle and increased the client’s home value. Hired them to do the design for my yard. I thought it would be fairly straightforward: get some shade tolerant plants and arrange them to fill the space. But designer's suggestions did not make sense: she would put a tree that grows to 20' high and 20' wide in an 8' space, put several 3' bushes into a 4' space, put plants that need full sun or constant watering into our dry and shady location, etc. After a few iterations of them sending us a plan and us sending back dozens of corrections along those lines we got tired because we did not seem to be getting anywhere. Complete waste of money, good thing it was not very expensive. Also, what they give you is a 2D drawing with symbols indicating where various plants will be located and then a list of plant names. That's quite hard to visualize, but we could have worked with that if the plan made sense otherwise.

In May we moved back to the Seattle area after 30 some years. Our lakefront house had been rented the entire time and was in need of a remodel to both the house and property. We are working with an architect to remodel the house and he suggested we call Lifestyle Landscapes, which we did. Designer Arlene Wing came out and looked over the property and listened to our concerns and wishes. She suggested we do the landscape work in three phases. The lake front, bulkhead, flower beds and orchard area would be phase one, the patio and walkways around the house are phase two, and restore the natural forested area, removing invasive plants that had become well established, and provide water and electrical power to this area. We hired Arlene that afternoon and she said she would be back in three weeks with a plan for phase one. Arlene was back in three weeks with the plan. It wasn't quite what we wanted so she listened, we tried to be more specific on what we wanted and build on the first plan she brought us. The plan went back and forth for a couple of weeks so the end result was a true collaboration and it is stunning in our opinion. The Lifestyles crew was terrific. They are all highly skilled professionals with an extreme work ethic to work hard everyday and create perfection. We couldn't be happier and are looking forward to working with Lifestyle Landscape on phase 2and 3.

From the first day I met to discuss my ideas with Noelle, I had confidence in the success of this project. They charge a very modest fee to get a great deal of insight into how the project will turn out and what the price will be. From there, Noelle worked with great patience and was willing to modify and refine the ideas at no extra cost until I was totally happy with going forward. The work was accomplished flawlessly in a very short time frame. I've done lots of home improvement in the past but never been so happy to stand back and let these professionals take over! The design, and sense of what works well really helped make my front yard a place my family will enjoy for many years to come.

I could not recommend this company any higher. We worked with Arlene to rebuild my backyard. Including a beautiful fire pit and beds. She helped me take my broad vision and designed something that my family loves. I felt very heard on aspects of the original design I wanted to change and was given ideas I had never thought of. All within our budget I was kept up to date on all phases of the project. When the crew would arrive, what they were working on, etc. A delay pushed our completion date out a few days (which I had anticipated). But when I let them know I had a party coming up, where I was looking forward to showing off my new landscaping, they put all hands on deck to finish on time. I can't wait to continue to work with this company on future phases of our yard.

Lifestyle Landscape did an outstanding job building one of my designs last year. As a designer I take great care to select contractor and lifestyle has exceeded my expectations thus far. They have bid a few projects for me this year. I have referred them to a few home owner recently and received good feed back about their professionalism and fairness of the estimated construction costing as well. Their crew is professional, polite, and well trained. Arlene Wing was extremely responsive to the clients questions, punctual to every meeting and very easy to work with. The scope of work consisted of installing plant material, lighting. fine grading and a mortar set blue stone seating area. The bid package/ estimate was thorough and well put together. They installed efficiently and the site was kept immaculately clean during the construction process. They finished on time and in budget!

FANTASTIC! Noelle and the crew took every opportunity to go above and beyond. They took the time to understand what we had in mind and what our budget allowed. Every time we got stuck, Noelle had a couple of creative solutions. The crew swooped in, did great work, and cleaned up - even did some thoughtful staging. Our experience with Lifestyle Landscapes was very positive and pleasant. Our project is in no way an easy one, particularly with the backyard which is shady and narrow. And there are ugly scenes from our neighbor's yard to be screened out. Lifestyle’s quick response and enthusiasm in taking the challenge drew us away from the other landscaping companies that we had discussions with. By our project, Lifestyle exceeded our expectation from start to finish. They turned a boring messy yard to a vibrant beautiful garden around our house. We were so delighted with the final outcome when we got home from work yesterday. The landscape consultants, Arlene and Katherine, listened to our needs and ideas carefully, stayed cautious on our budget, and replied to our questions quickly throughout the design and installation process. We love the design they created, the granite stairs they proposed and the plants they picked for us. Everything fits our taste and the surrounding conditions amazingly well. The crew did the installation to a high standard and cleaned up the site every day before leaving. The irrigation specialist Jose even set the watering schedule on our sprinkler system for us. They completed the project right on schedule. We were very impressed with their professionalism and focus on client satisfaction. I requested a few quotes and David at Lifestyle Landscapes was the first to respond and respond with a design. He did not charge me for design work. Many others requested a $2000 fee to begin designing. When I called to negotiate the landscaping fee, David was very courteous and worked within my budget to give me pretty much the original design (minus the pricier items like a water feature). The work was completed in 3.5 days and during that time, David called to check in and also came by twice to ensure the project was going as planned. He did a final walk through with me as well. I highly recommend Lifestyle Landscapes. This was a very pleasant experience for me! Thank you David and team.

We had our landscape totally renovated by Lifestyle Landscapes. It has become an extension of our living room giving us a beautiful eating space and lounging space. Our designer was excellent in creating the modern landscape we envisioned. Lifestyle Landscape was efficient with time and very professional. We receive complements often on the modern design as it is unique and functional and I must admit, super cool.
