When we started our project, we were struggling to reconcile our grant deed with the city codes. We were making a lot of false stops trying to work with the city on our own. We had tried starting with several other companies but we just weren’t getting anywhere. More importantly, we were having to adjust what we wanted to what the city would allow. This is what I think has been the most vital part of working with Vanguard development. Not only was their communication with us by far worlds better than any other company up until this point, but their communication with the city was what made the biggest impact in our project. You want real positive results? You want to work with a company that can build a relationship with the city. Our land is unusual, and code interpretations were not exactly in coming our in our favor. Vanguard development not only worked to understand the codes as they applied to our property, but they worked with the city to see if they would update their code interpretation to make our project possible. They did this with patience and persistence, building a great working relationship with the city to make our project a success.

We have been in our property for over 6 years now and purchased the property fully intending to build a second unit on it. We spent 4 years having nothing but false starts meeting with various companies and eventually not getting what we needed from them. Cut to 2 years ago when my husband reached out to Vanguard Development. My gosh, what a difference in style and communication from everyone we had tried to work with before. We met with (virtually) Oleksii who helped set our expectations and asked the questions needed to figure out what we really wanted. Of course, a pandemic hit when things were starting to get rolling. But, we're still on our way to getting this unit built. Oleksii has helped keep us on track for our deliverables while consistently meeting the expectations he helped set for him and his team. If you are a busy home owner and need someone to actually help drive a project for you, then this is the company for you. Concise, clear, and detailed information is the backbone of how this company works with its clients. Trust in the process and you will not be sorry.

My project was smaller, partitioning a large studio condo into a one-bedroom unit. My HOA required an architectural floorplan. Oleksii responded quickly and was both professional and reasonable. Even though my job was small, Oleksii treated my needs as important, and provided a professional floorplan within two days at a very reasonable price. Great experience.

I love working with Oleksii Klymenko. A great interior Designer. Easy to work with. Follows through with you on every step from concept to completion. Not only he brings his ideas and design to you but also education and growth as to his thought process behind the designed themes. It is very important to me to resonate with the person, team i am working with. His ideas and concepts of using space, colors, elements is thoughtful and invite minimalism to our everyday living. Vanguard’s architectural team was quick, professional, and came up with many detailed ideas to help ensure that we were happy with the design. Vanguard successfully coordinated with the city to determine project requirements early in the design phase, which was very helpful and saved us valuable time and effort. Oleksii and Vanguard have helped us re-design more than half of our home. They understood what we needed, gave us many alternatives, and worked with us answering countless questions and providing different variations until we were happy. At each step, we got multiple detailed pictures of exactly how it would look when finished. They kept our limited budget in mind throughout the entire process as well. This was a great experience, and I highly recommend it!
