Deciding on how to tackle a large remodel is a daunting task. Then identifying and deciding on the right professionals to help you realize that dream can be even more so. We were looking to do a kitchen and living room remodel and update our guest bath. We also planned to open up the kitchen to the living room which involved inserting a steel beam. Not an easy task and you want the right team in place to do things like this. We couldn't have chosen a more perfect team to go on this journey with us. My husband and I bid out the project to four companies and Tribute, by far, exceeded our expectations. After our consultation, we didn't just get pricing estimates and a timeline, but renderings of what we could expect so we could make design changes and even suggest improvements along the way. An architect was involved with the beam install and placement too. John designed a custom kitchen table that was connected to the large island since this is how we like to entertain. We then matched the vent hood to the table. We loved the process so much that we added on to the project and enclosed my husband's office and painted the entire first floor. They will go with what you want but also aren't afraid to make suggestions based on their experience. We highly recommend Tribute Kitchen and Bath if you are looking to transform your home in ways you couldn't have imagined.

John & Trudy Voigt (Tribute Kithcen & Bath) were such a great find for our major first floor renovation project which included almost 3000 sq ft of work area. We really needed someone with a “big picture” outlook who could not only give us fresh new ideas, but could also provide renderings to help us visualize the end result. We were re-doing our entire first floor to create an open concept which included the removal of several walls, re-layout of plumbing in the kitchen and master bath slabs, new kitchen, new floors, new stone fireplace…you name it, everything was changed. John came up with ideas and concepts that we would have never considered, and after a few revisions, we arrived at a final design and we were ready to go. Trudy was instrumental in working with us to choose colors, finishes, materials and design touches to tie everything together. She was so helpful in coming up with a comfortable, functional and timeless design theme that was consistent throughout the whole space. This large amount of work required that we move out of our first floor and live upstairs (our choice) for the entirety of the project which was estimated at 5 months. Unfortunately, we encountered some setbacks that impacted our timeline (the Texas deep freeze, a burst pipe, the COVID pandemic and associated labor/materials problems) which delayed our completion date by two and a half months. Tribute also had a personnel issue during this timeframe that contributed to the delay, but that issue was rectified. This would have probably lowered our overall rating at the time, but looking at the situation in hindsight, it would be foolish and naive to expect a remodeling project of this magnitude to be completed with zero issues or delays…and that’s without any major outside challenges (like a pandemic) that were well beyond Tribute’s control. John and Trudy handled all of these issues and probably more that we weren’t aware of, so they truly earned and deserve this five star rating. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with the end result and love our “new home”…we wish we would have done this sooner. Everyone who visits our house is amazed by the transformation and the quality of the work that was performed. Tribute was the perfect contractor for our major renovation and we’ve referred them to several of our friends who are considering similar “large scope” projects.

Tribute Kitchen & Bath completed a total master bath remodel for us. We are more than satisfied with the project. John's vision brought our very outdated (last picture posted I believe) ugly dark 90's bathroom into a modern day contemporary design that we fell in love with. John & Trudy listened to our needs and desires and produced a beautiful open concept spa like master bath. We loved how the remodel was taking shape and requested that our master closet be updated as well. John incorporated a beautiful island in our closet and carried the tile from our bathroom into the closet pulling the two together. Our project manager, Mark kept us informed on a daily and/or weekly basis what was going to take place during that week. He was on sight quite often making sure everything was flowing smoothly which we appreciated. Trudy was such a pleasure to work with. She has such an amazing eye for coordinating tile, color and lighting. She was always accessible by phone or text. Our friends and family have been very complimentary of the finished project. By the end of the project we felt as if we had made three new friends. We would 100 percent recommend this company for any project in your home.

We are in love with our new kitchen! Our remodel was extensive, whole house floors, change of the downstairs floor plan, paint everywhere and a brand new kitchen. With any extensive reno, we know that there will always be ups and downs. Any concern or question, John took the time to answer it or help us come to a solution if we were hitting budget concerns. He helped provide options. We would definitely use them again.

We recently had our kitchen remodeled by Tribute and are in love with our new kitchen. It was a complete remodel with walls coming down and completely gutted. Project started in August and we were able to host Thanksgiving dinner later that year. The project was completed in the time frame they had committed to. We had a great Project Manager who provided regular updates and was able to answer questions for us, and made himself available anytime we needed to speak with him. Tribute has been available to assist with small follow up items even after the completion date, which we really appreciated.

We got a few different quotes from kitchen remodeling companies. We loved Trudy and Jon. They were very easy to talk to and knowledgeable. What started as a kitchen remodel turned into a whole first floor remodel and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome!

Project included full kitchen , laundry and garage remodel. Vision of the project and design was a 5 star and their strength! Scheduling and project management could have been better, note our PM was new to their company and learning as well. Project timeline was not met. Quality of work is 5 star and we couldn't be happier with the outcome.

We updated a 15 year old kitchen. Goodbye dark, hello white and bright transitional kitchen! John provided wonderful virtual realtity images of what we envisioned. The project involved gutting everything to the studs and rebuilding. Trudy was instrumental in helping me pick out new surfaces, lighting, hardware, and paint colors that happily cordinated together. We were first time renovators and Tribute made this whole process so easy..from the initial consultation until the very end. The design process was great. John is an excellent designer and really has a good eye for things. Any changes or tweaks we requested were discussed and put in. Once the design was complete, we sat down and discussed the project costs. Their costs are well laid out and all details were put in the quote so there were no surprises during the process. Throughout the project, we were well informed of what was going on. Trudy helped with the shopping and design details. They were always available to answer any questions. The project was completed in a timely manner with the highest quality craftsmanship. We are so happy with the finished product and continue to enjoy our new spaces everyday. Our project included a complete kitchen renovation with all new custom cabinetry and appliances, took down 2 walls, new office space and expanded the mudroom, new floors and paint throughout, reface the fireplace, new sliding door and all new lighting throughout.

Tribute recently completed a simultaneous total remodel for two of our bathrooms. They were very helpful in the initial process of selecting materials that coordinated well and that fit our design style. John and Trudy offered helpful suggestions to refine our choices, showing their experience in the process of selecting quality components that worked well together. The free 3-D design made it easy for me to see what the kitchen would look like when it was finished and the completed project is a splitting image of the preview. We hired John and Trudy to renovate our 90's kitchen and laundry room. We wanted a more open concept, with lots of smart storage and great function ability. Johns design didn't miss a thing. His years of design experience shown through with his first design it addressed all wants and even things we hadn't thought of. And Trudy was a great help when it came to helping me with the overall look I was trying to achieve. We chose to start our renovation on November 1 with the understanding that we would have a working kitchen by Christmas. They stayed true to their timeline, kept us informed on a daily basis as to who would be at the house the next day and worked above and beyond to be certain I had a working kitchen in time for the holidays. Throughout our entire renovation John and Trudy were always accessible and easy to work with and if we made changes to our plan they were very upfront with any cost that would affect our budget. Also, all their employees and sub contractors were equally easy to work with, they showed up on time, they were considerate of our home and always cleaned up at the end of the day. John was also very hands on and was at our house several times a week checking on the project. His attention to detail was great. He is very much a perfectionist and wants you to be completely satisfied with the final outcome. Overall it was a great experience and we have an amazing kitchen where we can entertain our family and friends . We look forward to working with John and Trudy again when we are ready to do our master bath!

TKB did an excellent job on our bathroom, kitchen, and partial living room remodel. After interviewing 3 different contractors for our master bath remodel, John and Trudy stood out because of their design ideas for our project and for their hands on approach to working with us and holding our hands throughout the entire demolition to material selection to completion process. Our project was gutting our 1980's master bath within the same footprint. The project included custom built stained cabinets, granite counters, new tile floor, new jacuzzi bath tub over a sunken tub footprint, large walk-in dual head shower with bench, drywall, texture, paint, all plumbing fixtures, lights, cabinet hardware, etc. We felt they listened to and incorporated our ideas into the design and always addressed any concerns we had during the project immediately. The end result is a beautiful spa-like master bath. We plan to use Tribute Kitchen and Bath again for future projects.

My husband bought this new house in Texas and I thought it was really lovely but the kitchen was a bit discouraging. I’ve always wanted a kitchen that’s near the dining area, spacious, cool, clean, neat, and sparkling white. My husband knows that I won’t settle for anything less if it’s about our kitchen. He is friendly and smiling. I am an immigrant so it’s kinda new to me to meet someone who is very true and committed to what he does in a very light and conversational way. I never felt intimidated unlike other people in Texas. Hehehe. Again, thank you so much John! I super love our kitchen!!! It’s perfect! It’s exactly what I wanted! We interviewed several professionals before remodeling our master bath and went with Tribute. John and Trudy were great to work with. They always returned our phone calls and were at the house everyday during the project. We were able to stick right to our proposed budget which is really nice when you are spending thousands of dollars. There were no surprises and the bathroom turned out beautifully! Trudi and John were delightful to work with. We met with both of them in November for a kitchen and master bath remodel for our mother's condo. We wanted a team who could manage the project completely so that we, mother's family who lived out of state, could be confident that a. the job be done within the agreed upon budget. b. that there was little stress for mother and for us. c. the job could be done in a reasonable time frame, d. that the work was top notch and mother was happy. All four expectations were met and even above and beyond the scope of the project. Trudi was terrific taking mother shopping for all the fixtures and appliances, while gently reminding mother of our budget. John was kind and considerate regarding mother's concern with safety as well as her design ideas. The kitchen was essentially gutted and new handmade cabinets were built, granite counter tops were cut properly and installed, and even some minor flooring repair. The master bath needed all new plumbing and a gorgeous walk-in shower replaced the original tub and poorly designed shower. New counter tops and sink and hand crafted cabinets replaced the outdated original vanity. The only hold up was the appliance delivery and that was due to the schedule of Sears.

I am a general contractor here in the North Dallas area and have known John and Trudy for several years. John's ability to visualize a space and create a 3D design that my customers can then also visualize is an enormous benefit to them and to me. I cannot tell you how glad I was to find John Voigt. Karen, my wife, and I had the renovation of our kitchen and bath at the top of our "wish list". But when she was involved in an accident causing permanent injury, we knew we had the additional challenge of renovating our home while making accommodations for her disability. I moved down here from Montana and bought RV Parks in Tyler and Seven Points, Tx. Between that and buying a used home in Celina, my time to spend overseeing our desired home renovation was exhausted. I talked to a number of people in search of someone who I could trust to do the work without my supervision. I was very picky about who I would choose. I wanted creativity, honesty and much more. And when the renovation was complete, I wanted to say "WOW". The project meant a lot to me! John Voigt came highly recommended to me from a number of his up-scale clients and that is what I wanted. Admittedly, this was so important to me and my wife, I was still a bit squeamish despite Mr. Voigt's references. Now that the project is done, I have to say that, had it not been for Mr. Voigt's knowledge and professionalism, I know my what we wanted would not have been realized. Long story short, when my wife and I walked into our newly renovated home, we had to sit down. It was so wonderful, I really could not believe it. Everything was done right without distraction. Both our kitchen, bath, patio and dining areas are virtual "works of art"! I can't wait to get photos to send to our relatives and friends. John is a creative genius. My wife and I were very reluctant to start on remodeling our kitchen and bath as there are so many people in the home improvement business that lack professional skills we considered essential.
