Once a co-host for HGTV's Designing for the Sexes, Karla uses her experience to create beautiful spaces. Her client-centric approach guarantees that designs are fresh, contemporary and distinctive.
Karla creates custom design plans for residential and commercial spaces. Her signature mix of clean lines, subtle palettes with bold punches of color, contrasting textures, and graceful lighting produces environments that are refined, casual, and highly functional.
In designing live and work spaces—and ones that blend both—Karla is committed to a client-centric approach. Each project begins with a discovery process and evaluation of a client’s lifestyle and needs. “The concept of the design organically grows out of how the client lives, how they will exist in the space,” she says.
Exterior spaces from Karla Beasley Interiors integrate landscape design into the project’s scope. From flora to furniture, Karla orchestrates innovative design elements to optimize indoor-outdoor flow, creating gardens and “outdoor living rooms” that naturally, functionally—and sustainably—extend and enhance the built environment.
Background:
Karla Beasley has eighteen years experience as an interior designer in Southern California. She completed a course of study in Environmental and Interior Design at UCLA, and was Co-Host and On-air Interior Designer for HGTV’s Designing For The Sexes in 2003/04. Her background also includes work in corporate communications and marketing in the entertainment business. Beasley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Arts & Sciences from the University of Southern California.
