My husband and I worked with Michelle on numerous upgrades throughout our new home. We had never worked with a designer before, but we immediately saw the value in doing so: she solidified a vision for all of our "wish list" desires, she brought my husband and I onto the same page, and she was extremely respectful of budget and time. When I think about the time that Michelle saved my husband and I, I am so grateful that we found her! It felt great to have so much work done to the house, with confidence, knowing that we had an expert's set of eyes on everything. She is very well connected and facilitated project quotes, samples and much more. She's candid with her opinion while being respectful of your style and wishes. I can't recommend her enough - she is an absolute joy to work with! We look forward to many years of projects with Michelle. She is gem!

Our project was a remodel of a bedroom and associated bathroom, plus a guest bathroom. The bedroom, originally the master bedroom, had been divided into two smaller rooms, and the bathrooms were as originally constructed in 1968. The work involved a complete demo of the old bedroom interior and the two baths. Michelle was the interior designer. She helped us first with the overall concept: how we planned to use the rooms and how we wanted them to look. Michelle was very responsive to our tastes and reinforced what we were after. She did this by creating an accurate sketchup layout that was easily modified for different configurations and finishes. For example, where should a window be and how large? Questions like that were easily addressed by the model, which helped avoided expensive changes after construction had started. She also helped tremendously by exposing us to the large range of finishes—tile types and colors, for example—and then by helping us reduce that range to a manageable selection for consideration. She helped with coordinating the purchase of the plumbing parts, electrical parts, and the tile, as well as follow-up with the vendors when there was a delivery or installation issue. I had no idea so much was involved! Prior to the start of construction, she generated a binder for each room. Each binder included detailed drawings of the layout of that room, all the materials specified, switch locations, plumbing, and so on. The construction crew found these binders invaluable, and they helped greatly to avoid mistakes and to speed and smooth the construction. The construction lasted about 3 months, and throughout that time Michelle was instantly available whenever a question arose. Her responses to design issues were careful and well thought out. Many times she helped me to think something out more carefully—“Well, let’s talk this through”—and the remodel was improved on that basis. We highly recommend Michelle and her small group to anyone contemplating work like this.

I have had a couple of negative experience's in working with designers and feel so lucky to have found Michelle. Michelle has a great eye for design and just as critical, listened to my ideas and really worked to understand my style. She asks great questions, let's you know the pros and cons of decisions you make, offers creative solutions to issues that arise and is always responsive. Her creativity is matched by her positive attitude and even when I was not able to get exactly what I wanted, due to budget constraints, Michelle was able to come up with a work around that is fantastic. I completely remodeled my home and could not have done it without Michelle.

We retained Michelle and Reveal Studio to provide interior design services for the renovation of our kitchen in June 2015. Michelle took the time to understand our objectives and our style preferences and she worked with us throughout the entire design and construction process to be sure that everything turned out as intended. Michelle was open to incorporating our suggestions into the project and she was very adept and steering us away from things that she thought we’d regret. As we reflect on the now completed project, we are certain that Michelle’s design sense and her ability to explain her thought processes contributed enormously to what we feel is a fabulous result. In addition to her superior design skills, Michelle introduced us to builders and vendors with whom she has worked on previous remodeling projects. We found that the team that Michelle assembled, from general contracting to flooring, countertops, cabinetry, appliances and window covering vendors, were highly skilled, service oriented, attentive to our schedule and fairly priced. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Michelle and her associates at Reveal Studio and we would give them our highest recommendation for any interior design projects in your home. We will be doing other remodeling projects in our home and we’ll look no further than Reveal Studio to provide design services.

Michelle Strausbaugh with Reveal Studio was a delight to work with on our total master bath remodel. Ms. Strausbaugh provided both aesthetic as well as functional designs to update our bathroom. She was excellent at interpreting, defining and creating our overall vision. Ms. Strausbaugh worked extremely well with the general contractor and the various subcontractors. She was especially helpful in selecting all the plumbing fixtures, decorative hardware, lighting , stone and tile surfaces. We could never have completed this project without her design guidance. Ms. Strausbaugh's calm demeanor, work ethic and dedication to making sure all the work was done right made all the difference to us.

I have worked with Michelle on several projects and I would recommend her without hesitation. She has great design ideas, really works to understand her client's goals and needs, and respects the budget. I am certain that my projects were completed with better design, reduced cost and time to execute because of Michelle. In addition to great designs her Project Management services are fantastic. I am a busy professional who travels frequently. I guess you could say that I could not have done it without her! Plus, she has a great personality and makes the planning and execution fun!

Michelle is amazing. She designed the most beautiful kitchen, bath and bedroom I could ever imagine. I love my home and it is because of her. I will admit that I am probably the most difficult client to work with because I am a control freak and a perfectionist, but Michelle understands and overcompensates for my imperfections.
