ASID San Diego Chapter

Our Chapter was established in 1975 (the same year ASID was created by the merger of AID and NSID) and has been a leading force in design in San Diego ever since. We are proud to be one of the most active ASID Chapters in the country. Chapter membership is composed of interior designers and industry partners. This symbiotic relationship has always served our members well. Monthly meetings offer the opportunity for networking and education to further nourish this relationship. The Chapter advances the interior design profession through advocacy of interior design legislation, professional and public education, expansion of interior design markets and encourages member involvement and chapter unity among our diverse membership. ASID San Diego Chapter offers many opportunities for member to interact with the public. Creating public awareness of the importance of professional interior design and the effect of the built environment on our daily lives. Kitchen Tours, Remodeling Tours, Spring Spruce Up, Fall and Spring Home/Garden Shows, Day with Designers are just a few of the events put on by the Chapter showcasing designs by ASID Designers.
