Deborah worked with us over many iterations to design a kitchen that involved removing a wall, combining the previous kitchen and dining room and re-configuring our main floor. Eventually we extended this to a full renovation of our house and Deborah played the key role in helping us navigate a large and complex project. Deborah helped us secure an engineer, created layout drawings and worklists for contractors to bid on, and oversaw the delivery of all work. Deborah is a true professional who helped us with every aspect of the project -- from design and build to selecting our final furnishing -- we can't say enough about her skills as a designer, her in-depth knowledge of renovations/construction, and her patience. Feeling absolutely lost and confused, my husband and I hired Deborah to help us design our uniquely small cabins. Thank god we did, as having her on our team changed our entire project! She is an absolute powerhouse, everything she touches literally glows! She was extremely efficient and knowledgeable, making everything flowed and came together perfectly. She literally held my hand through the entire process- which can definitely be daunting- but instead made me feel supported and empowered. We very much need to update our kitchen and bathroom however we were not looking forward to all the trials and tribulations that renovations can bring. To help us deal with all potential issues, Deborah came to the rescue. She came hide or recommended by two friends who have engaged Deborah for the renovations. Hi Houzz I hired Debra to look after several issues with regards to colors , moving furniture, replacing sofas and making the living room flow into the kitchen and the other parts of the condominium. Her advice was priceless and I followed it to the letter , she was insightful and came up with some wonderful suggestions . It's terrific, working with Deborah. I'm a dud at decorating, and I don't have a car. She gives careful consideration to the issues--in my case, buying a new sofa and chair, and upholstering an old one, etc.-- then makes you aware of limitations, realities, options, costs... And then willingly will drive you around to see sofas and fabrics, deal to merchants, and the rest. I would have been lost without her guidance. As it is, I'm about to have the living room of my dreams.

This was our second time in using Danniels-French Design and were every bit as pleased yet again. We weren't in the city for most of the renevations and totally depended on Danniels-French to co-ordinate all the work. Very knowledgable in helping us choose all that was needed for all the rooms. Work was completed on time and we are extremely happy with our beautifu Condo.

We live in a small cottage on Toronto Island and have only one bathroom that needed barrier-free access. Since we were going to be out of the country for the winter months, we hired Deborah to design and oversee the project. I chose to work with Danniels-French Design on the design and layout for a complete rennovation of my unfinished basement in our older, traditional North Toronto house. Deborah Danniels-French stands apart as an interior designer due to her unique ability to maximize the use and functionality of any space in the home and to create space where you thought there was none. Working with Deborah, I quickly realized that the most important part of my basement renovation, and any future renovation I undertake, is the initial planning, layout and design of the new space - this is Deborah's true area of expertise. She is professional, likeable and wonderful to work with. Deborah did a spectacular design for my living room and study, then was a central part of the process, advising on all aspects of the work, often driving me around to check out items like a gas fireplace and floor lamps. We even made a field trip to Ikea. I appreciated Deborah's calm professionalism, her wise counsel and her sense of humour. Currently she's the wizard behind a kitchen reno that looms, and, as always, I have complete confidence that it will be wonderful when done.
