“We have worked with Jack "n" Toolbox a number of times over the last two decades. They have remodeled a bathroom, rebuilt two exterior staircases, repaired a slab leak, built a laundry room, replaced a spiral staircase with a straight drop one and remodeled the room into which it descended and, most important of all, identified and corrected a major building error made by a previous owner which surfaced during the torrential rains of January 2005. In all instances, their work was over and above anything we might have hoped for. The employees of the company listen carefully to our wishes and provide helpful input; they are prompt, respectful and tidy. “When my wife and I moved to the Central Coast from the Central Valley (sound familiar?), we wanted not just a change in scenery, or cooler temperatures, we wanted a lifestyle change. We bought a mobile home in a great spot, but the home had an existing 3-level deck that was very old, poorly designed, and really just ugly. We interviewed 3 different builders, and we did not have to look any further once we met Isaac, the proprietor of IMC Building. He just understood exactly what we wanted without a lot of need for us to draw the picture. In fact, he drew the pictures! Mobile home parks have some surprisingly stringent requirements for decks, Isaac was able to wade through the confusing, arbitrary, and sometimes contradictory requirements from the state agency that oversees mobile homes. The end result is that we got an amazingly stout structure that looks incredible and gives us literally hours of joy each and every day. We added 1,000 sq ft of livable space to our mobile home, and we recommend IMC Building to everyone who asks about our beautiful deck.”

“I have had the pleasure of working with Hybrid Construction on multiple home improvement projects as well as remodels. Whether the project is large in size or small they are always friendly and professional. They offer design recommendations and suggestions as well as preforming the actual work to get the job done. The owner is always responsive to my many questions and takes the time to explain the pros and cons of the various options that are presented to me for my project. When you hire Hybrid Construction for your project you can be assured that the owner will be on the job site on daily basis, not just at the time that you sign the contract. As we all know, this is not always the case w/ General Construction companies. This is 1 major differentiator in my opinion, between Hybrid and other companies. I have been living and working from my home while construction is being preformed. I truly appreciate Hybrid Construction's attention to detail in both the creative space as well as the day to day cleanliness of the job site. “Matt, our general contractor, was professional and experienced. Had great subs. Produced high quality work with few problems. Came in on budget and respected our concern for costs. Had good ideas and made constructive suggestions, but never pushed his agenda. We remodeled the kitchen, two bathrooms, living room fireplace with built-ins, custom closets, and replaced flooring as well as painting the entire house. All of this was done while we were living in the house! Matt made it work for everyone. Terrific job.”
