Our Design Firm has worked with Allen Construction on multiple projects. They have a level of professionalism that is not seen very often in Construction. On top of that, they are easy to work with, knowledgeable about the industry and truly want the best for their clients. I never hesitate referring clients their way. We recently hired Allen Construction to fully remodel our mid-century beach house. We knew it would be challenging to work with an older home full of surprises but they did a great job revitalizing the entire house with current features while mixing in historical charm. Not only did they take very good care of our home with excellent craftsmanship, they made sure we were involved throughout the process with great communication and attention to detail. We couldn’t be happier with the end result! Should we ever need another trusted builder, the team at Allen Construction will be our first call – they should be yours as well!

Allen Construction is top in its field for a reason -- they have a highly qualified team and in my case, they finished the project on time, and under budget. I found all of the Allen team members to be professional, responsive and hard-working. The company also clearly spends a lot of time developing solid relationships with the best subcontractors in town. I specifically worked with Brent Safranski, of Allen Care and Repair. He took significant time with me explaining the next steps of the project, each step along the way as well as managing the project overall with skill and a relaxed demeanor.

It was a pleasure to work with everyone I encountered at Allen Construction during the three instances I utilized them. In 2011, they remodeled my 1951 2/1 bungalow, upgrading the electrical and plumbing as well as modernizing the kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms and living area.
In early 2016, Allen added a master suite that included a wonderful bedroom, bath and office. Unfortunately, in October 2016, my house suffered water damage that required extensive remediation, but I didn't hesitate calling Allen Construction for this purpose. As with the previous two projects, I was extremely pleased as they brought my house back from its waterlogged state to its former beauty.
In all three of these major home improvement projects, Allen handled the work professionally, efficiently and always at or under budget. The outcomes are stunning and I'm proud to live in such a lovely home. I recommend Allen Construction enthusiastically and without reservation.

We hired Allen Construction to do a remodel on our recently purchased home . It was fairly complicated taking one large bathroom and making it into 2. Also remodeled the master bath and kitchen. They did a super job in construction with a lot of pride and attention. to detail. They were very communicative along the way and we are thrilled with the outcome. We would certainly recommend them highly and as we potentially do additional remodeling will definitely use them again.

We have worked with a number of contractors over the years and Allen Construction is simply the best. Our major home remodeling project encountered a number of difficulties due to anomalies in the original structure. Rather than take the easy way, Allen consistently avoided shortcuts and worked to get the remodeled house exactly right, devising innovative solutions to several problems. I very much appreciated what became project manager Nick Holman's motto: "It has to be perfect." Moreover, everyone at Allen was a delight to deal with. Whether a skilled tradesman or someone in the office, everyone at Allen was always knowledgeable, pleasant and courteous. They also went out of their way to be agreeable and accommodating to our neighbors. In short, Allen Construction took what might have been a difficult project and turned it into a fun and exciting experience. We couldn't be happier with the final result. I have strongly recommended Allen Construction to friends and family.

The construction crew on my job was excellent in their professionalism and courtesy. My house is 90 years old, so we needed to solve several problems due to its age and changing code regulations. They completed the job on time and with a wonderful ability to work as a team with everyone, including owners, structural engineer, architect, county regulators and subcontractors. This was a major remodel and our third project with Allen Construction - we would choose them again.

What I especially liked was the way the project manager (Brent Safranski) attended to all sorts of small details that I cared about. He kept saying that he wanted me to be happy, and he really worked to make that happen. Respect and care for my property while remodeling was going on was excellent, and so was clean-up and helping me put furniture back in place, put pictures back on walls, and similar details. Actually, I am writing here about my first and largest project. After that, I worked with Brent Safranski at least four or five other times on smaller, but still significant, projects. Each time there was the same cheerful follow-through and attention to what I cared about.
