Steve Jensen, General Contractor and owner of Jensen Quality Homes, is a third generation builder and currently serves as President of the Rutherford County Home Builders Association. Steve is one of a handful of local builders who have been certified by the Certified Professional Builders of Rutherford County. Steve was recognized by his peers who voted him Builder of the Year in 2011 and 2013, and Jensen Quality Homes was recognized by the community as Rutherford Counties' Favorite Builder in the 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 Ruthies' Awards. Steve and his family of seven children were named "Family of the Year" by Murfreesboro's Parent Magazine in 1998. We know what it takes to make a house a home. Steve's background includes building true custom built homes, from the design stage, working with the homeowner and architect on traffic flow, layout and lifestyles - every detail works together. In addition to construction experience, Steve spent many years in the corporate world managing customer service departments, large project project management, as well as sales and marketing roles. It is not surprising that one of Steve's favorite business books is "In Search of Excellence" by Tom Peters.
