sbrison's patio ideas
maybe some interesting curves in front of the house? I don't know what to do with that area--including the stone wall (where perennials are currently growning) and the driveway/parking lot that's taken over so much of the land. I think introducing some curves--a curved stone walkway, a curved river of flowers like this--might help, but I don't know. I'd love to hear Janet's suggestions.
for later breezeway (but with square columns)
for later connecting walkway (but longer) to garage
for later sweet, like roof lines. could have big, wraparound porch with little shed or tiny cottage
shed to go at the north end of the dining pergola?
love the design (and color) of the pergola. that's all
pergola, stone patio creating dining area
something like the pergola and patio with the shed on the far end, but without the garage-like building in back
white pergola creating dining space
like how the pergola extends out from the eave. possibly on the northfacing side of Tom's study?
just the firebowl. we'll probably just get one like this. it might be nice to have it on flagstones. Don't know if it would be safe to have on a wooden deck or patio.
arbors
like the weathered-looking wood on this deck
pergola and columns (prefer square) creating room-like space
everything
pergola over patio creating dining area
would like a firebowl somewhere near hottub and/or near outdoor dining table
firepit near hottub!
doors also--pergola.
