Purple with hydrangea, and how dense the planting is.
Don't like the impatiens in the front or yellow varigated plants behind boxwoods, but love the brick pillars and open gate with the tree canopy.

I like the use of what appear to be hibiscus. Very pretty and look more like abutalon in this setting than the sometimes cheesy tropical theme hibiscus are usually used in.
LOVE the trees. Love almost everything (except the irises - not a fan of that type of leaf).
Like the boxwoods surrounding the roses and veggie area.
LOVE the apple tree hedge!!! Would LOVELOVELOVE to have a fruit hedge around the perimeter of the yard like this, though understandably it would be bare part of the year. Maybe citrus?
I like the bush/wall of green growing up along the left side of the picture, as well as the hosta-looking plant on the bottom right corner with the white edging.
