My Project
I love how they have used vertical beams to create a corner desk. The client won't feel boxed in as it still allows air, light, and sound to flow. I'd love to see the shadows it will create at different times of the day! The butcher block-style desk looks great with handy storage below. This desk could be suitable for a parent that wants to see their kids while working, a minimalist, or to define a 'focus zone' in the home.
Floor to ceiling book storage, a reading bench by the window, and a table and chairs for homework. The light wood floor contrasts the dark wall covers and built-in shelving. It is a compact space, but I get the impression they were going for a full feeling in this room. It looks to be a home library/study area for the kids.
This room has coastal vibes, plenty of white incorporated but never bland thanks to the motif on the wall, woven rug, and rattan bed. The round side table is a great addition, with the proximity of the door and bed. It appears to be a guest bedroom or holiday home as there aren't any personal items in this room.
