standard hanging bar. I like the baskets up high, but remember I want space for a wrapping station.
This might not be a bad idea instead of an entire room.
I like this drawer between the two, but similar could go next to the washer. it has to be a pull out.

hiding ductwork 5. Linear drains. This is an option that needs to be planned prior to your bathroom renovation to ensure that you have enough depth below your shower floor for the drain and pan. There are many beautiful linear drain options these days that have decorative metal covers, and some can have tile set right into them, as in the image above, or even have LED lights in them.
Hiding ductwork 1. Drop ceiling. Often you will have to drop your ceiling to house ducts and pipes. Instead of creating random bulkheads everywhere, plan to drop your ceilings at certain locations and make them architectural details that speak to the design of your space. Hide your supply vents or air returns on the sides to keep your ceilings less cluttered.

I love this. What would I do with it?
6. Whisk it away. Restaurant countertops often have disposal holes with bins positioned beneath them so scraps can be swept straight into the trash without having to open a cupboard or lift a lid with dirty hands — highly convenient if you have the counter space. It can even look neat and stylish, like this chunky one made of wood.

While I have big plans for a laundry room, i really don't need much more than this - I want the counter top and hanging bar plus at least one cupboard to keep the soap and dryer sheets in.
I think that is like elastic so it spreads apart to stick stuff in but the stuff won't fall back out. Concern would be stuff getting pushed to the far back and never seeing it again.
A tall, slim basket unit with pullout drawers is a good way to organize supplies. Install a few hooks in the cabinet or on the inside of the cabinet doors to hang a step stool, dusters and other tools.
Here is an eight person round table. How could two people comfortably play cards here?
I was thinking round but I was also wondering how to make it small enough for two but big enough for six or eight. Maybe we just need to go square and make a leaf or two.
This seems like a good idea but better might be a space behind/beside each seat that they can put stuff on. Also need to think about where to put snack everyone is eating out of like dip
