Starting again
A smart and elegant look and with all these items that create the moody effect which have been done after the fact, not at build stage. The table with seats are a welcome entry addition. The lighting in this hall is basic and sufficient but not ideal, and could be done on front garage wall/passage/entry.
What a great idea for WIR to master! Excellent idea of lighting & cupboard/drawers. In reno situation this could be incorporated in front extension of eastern wall after the WC opposite the existing vanity...or with new build and chest of drawers nestled in this position with large mirror above to reflect light from window.
window options...consider for ensuite for vertical over bath & horizontal for shower, which would also capture tree views, as well as fenceline at 3m distance.
Highly defined screening & door. The look here is overly busy and enclosing and worth noting the styling as how not to do it, yet bath edge is great.
bath taps easily accessed at front of bath & wide ledge make for easy entry & exit of bath and this is the layout that is as for ensuite, though I think, a little more spacious than our 2m space. Also, ledge to bath is ideal and could be set into window ledge in main bathroom.
Glass hinged panel folding over spa bath could possibly be utilised in a separation from shower in ensuite, keeping in mind our tight space. Not an option with new plumbing regulations requirements as bath short end will be on outer wall with window and shower beside, so panel can only be a short, fixed glass panel which folds on itself.
good edge to bath and a simple yet practical wet zone and the window would be most suitable for main bathroom..
door possibility for study & theatre, or something like, which opens up the spaces to each other and allows light to flood passageway.
Infront of window idea beside wardrobe to guest bedroom, study
great shelving idea and simple window seat, is preferred option but hinged on sizing.
Hallway/lounge or bedroom feature with colourful vibrant approach
door & window combinations for outside access in music room.
the spotted gum here is lovely
Wood as acoustic attribute
Music & TV Unit...American Oak Veneer design by Design Australia...Nth Fitzroy
Brilliant! Here is a close up of the longline TV unit & stereo set up which remains impressive. Is the attraction in the wood that matches floor & outside door?
acoustic idea
extending a fence line & creating privacy as well as being pleasing to the eye...suit driveway side from theatre/music room.
Outdoor spot for Master...a tiny deck for capturing the sun perhaps viewing a colourful wall with framed living green art...Outside living room a water feature??
layout as for my plan
Particularly like the cupboards & treatment of hotplates, double ovens, rangehood & splashback paired with the solid Island & funky corner seating table & chairs. T. Note the uniting blue chair galley arrangement of sink/prep zone/stove. Layout here is perfect for me.
classical, functional, practical & smart that suits reno or new build and note nearly no overheads but heaps of bench space
microwave excellent mid height location with underneath space for toaster & kettle, drawers & window seat
Island treatment with variation in both height & depth to allow for seating while at wider area, space for shelving & other storage options.
Materials used for benchtops & Island with power points as well as a raised edge separating work from seating zones..
And here are the shelves in the Island I'm wanting, also space for seats but won't suit Karabil as seating needs to be at other end, however something like this with lower table end would be practical.
the different lighting method of family meals & kitchen
position of sink in Island and relationship to dishwasher.
ironing board tucked into island bench.
charging station in kitchen but can be a simple shelf arrangement.
a workstation in kitchen in island or close by work station?
sliding doors to family room space. Otherwise swing doors only, though the wood element adds warmth, no light can filter through to passageway.
Inset glass sliding door allows light but separates the zones beautifully & could be ideal for lounge & family room closure. See also black painted entry door with single glass panel which is on red brick house.
shelving depth for pantry shelving
appliances shelf and narrow surrounding shelves as well as drawers are great! Note no corner cupboard and this would be in reverse order at Karabil.
Compactness& cheaper option, as well as the layout i'm imagining at karabil with bench as appliances spot that then turns around into far wall as store and then again into shallow shelves behind oven position.
fridge freezer option & lighting idea over dining table
Window seat and window an option in a very practical layout for family & meals/kitchen and the window opening option too which would suit our meals space, not to mention give the meals space sufficient room for seating.
Corner opening doors on outdoor living or window at meals only?
stacker doors
This joinery wall is great & the window treatment set within it is a delight, not to mention that it could work really well in Karabil. Furthermore the shelving could be a great hidden TV spot. Add to that, the wood tones with the white and I have the colours in which I am happy.
L shaped family/meals onto alfresco
built out rather than in, again creates a narrowing of floor space where it's least desired. However, could be adated to the shorter wall for convenience.
the built in cabinets here could work by window & door and is about the size that would be easily accommodated to either wall option of family room.
another built in option. This one demonstrates an approach to suit a narrow wall space, if assuming the dark grey element is the entire unit
check out the dual areas of alfresco, fully covered & attached to court yard open to the elements also the step up situation which could match that of Karabil.
porch encompassing the entry and front room window though different, basic principles are the same and has the front room window away from entry space.
