A Split Complementary scheme is shown in this image as it uses the colors yellow-orange, yellow- green, and purple. Split complementary can be best described as it uses one primary color and two secondary colors to create highlights and accents within the design. This color scheme makes the room feel energetic and spacious as the unequal colors make even the smallest corner of the room pop.
The color scheme shown is known as a Triadic Design and this room uses the colors orange, green, and purple. The Triadic scheme uses colors that are evenly spaced on the color wheel or other wise dark, medium, and light hues. This color scheme gives the room a 70 or an 80s feel to it as the colors are ecstatic and give the room vibrant harmonies.
The image shows Complementary Design and uses the colors blue and orange to bring together the room. Complementary design focus on two of the primary colors to emphasis a space and appeal the viewing eyes. The complementary color scheme make the room feel a little closed off, but using the opposite colors evens out the lighting and appeals to both the dark as well as the light.
This picture presents the analogous design through the warm colors being red and orange. Analogous design uses both primary and secondary colors, as long as they are next to each other on the color wheel. Such as in this case it uses red, red-orange, and orange. This color scheme makes the room feel cozy and warm. As well as the amount of the color being used makes the room feel a bit crowded.
This image shows a high key design and uses pastel colors of red and blue. High key design consists light tones without or with few dark shadows primarily whites and light grays as well as pastel colors. The color scheme of the room uses a high key design to gives the room a lighter contrast to make the room fell more roomy and open.
Monochromatic with different hues of blue. Monochromatic can be described as colors from a single hue. In this case the color blue was extended to create the different hues of blue shown by adding black or white. The color scheme in this case gives a feel that it is solely for a boy as well as it also appears that the room is more closed off, while still appearing inviting as it the light hits fairly nicely.
