Many varieties are available; all are native to the Chihuahuan desert, and none require irrigation to thrive. ‘Compacta’ grows to about 5 feet in height and width, with that perfect ‘evergreen meatball’ shape so loved by landscape architects and homeowners alike. ‘Green Cloud’ strongly resembles its varietal name and is well-loved for its thick green foliage and light purple flowers. Finally, ‘Lynn’s Legacy’ is named after one of the preeminent botanists of Texas and Northern Mexico, Lynn Lowery. ‘Lynn’s Legacy’ has small leaves and periwinkle flowers. Enjoy all the varieties of Texas sage or cenizo — truly the number one shrub of South Texas.

I DON'T LIKE THIS TO MESSY FOR MY TASTE!!!!!!
WE HAVE A SWING SIMILAR TO THIS! We need a special place for this SWING A GIFT FOR DAPHNIE This unique garden keeps you guessing of what fun surprise you'll see next. It's a combination of sculpted plants, southern charm, traditional comfort, with a modern twist.
look for large-scale succulents like foxtail agave (Agave attenuata) or aloe varieties. Use the age-old container composition rule — “thriller, filler and spiller” — to design your container. Here, the foxtail agave acts as the focal point (the “thriller”), blue chalk sticks (Senecio mandraliscae) fills in the midsection (the “filler") and orange-flowering parrot’s beak (Lotus maculatus) cascades over the side (the “spiller”). A tall container gives the planting trio more visual impact and shows off the trailing habit of the parrot’s beak vine.
Remember that even with a classic gravel path, properly installing the subgrade, the base course and the surface layer can give you a much more durable result. Instead of just throwing some gravel down in your garden, consult a landscaper to get some good recommendations on plastic grids and fabric backings that discourage weed growth.
You don’t need a fancy or expensive fountain to bring water to your outdoor space. A simple design using a galvanized tank, a drilled stone or paver for the water to spill over, and an inexpensive fountain pump can create a lively recirculating fountain, as pictured here. I LIKE THE LOOK
