This is our DIY staircase makeover, we pulled out the carpet and replaced the treads and risers with new, oak treads and risers. The "Hippies Use The Backdoor" Sign is something I saw on Houzz and recreated in Photoshop, and the light fixture is from Pottery Barn. .
