With three wide drawers on runners, this chest is intricately hand carved from mahogany and features flamboyant Louis XIV embellishments aplenty: carved acanthus leaves at the top of the elaborately carved cabriole legs, bevelled-edge surface, beautifully curved drawer fronts adorned with white leaf motif handles and decorative keyholes, and there’s even carved panel detailing on the sides of the chest!
