Modern Urban Living Room with a Scandinavian Look
Truth be told, there's a bit of everything in this living room design, but it all makes sense with the right elements. From afar, you get a modern urban aesthetic with mid-century touches. Still, you'll notice some small eclectic features and Scandinavian shapes for a truly unique living room space if you see closely. Two rugs are used to help define the areas. A pair of comfortable armchairs and a beautiful brass arch lamp create an intimate conversation zone in front of the fireplace, which can easily be shifted slightly for larger social gatherings. Soft upholstered ottomans provide both table surfaces and additional seating options; the round cushioned surfaces are great for kids. The artwork features abstract forms and a neutral color palette to bring back that urban modern design aesthetic we wanted for the whole room.
