Money was an issue in this salvage project. The homeowners didn't want to invest in the kitchen more than 5% of the 180K value of the house since they considered it would be hard to recover. With DIY Makeover Coaching of Design Edge they spent $7,300. Keeping the footprint, opening a wall and a window to the backyard, and updating materials were mostly what was done in this project.
