An inversion of the common solution of placing the relaxation area on the mezzanine was applied. Thus, the room was given a consistently neat appearance, leaving the functional area on top. The built-in composition of cabinets and bookshelves does not additionally take up space. At the heart of the two-story house, we created a library with high gloss lapis blue walls. The tête-à-tête provides an inviting place for the couple to read while their children play games at the antique card table. The second phase of a large interior design project we carried out in Richmond, West London, between 2018 and 2020. This Edwardian family home on Richmond Hill hadn’t been touched since the seventies, making our work extremely rewarding and gratifying! Our clients were over the moon with the result.

COMFORTABLE LUXURY WITH A VIBRANT EDGE
The existing house was so incredibly tired and dated, it was just crying out for a new lease of life (an interior designer’s dream!). Our brief was to create a harmonious interior that felt luxurious yet homely.
Having worked with these clients before, we were delighted to be given interior design ‘carte blanche’ on this project. Each area was carefully visualised with Tim’s signature use of bold colour and eclectic variety. Custom fabrics, original artworks and bespoke furnishings were incorporated in all areas of the house, including the children’s rooms.

END-TO-END INTERIOR DESIGN SERVICE
This interior design project was a labour of love from start to finish and we think it shows. We worked closely with the architect and contractor to replicate exactly what we had visualised at the concept stage.
The project involved the full implementation of the designs we had presented. We liaised closely with all trades involved, to ensure the work was carried out in line with our designs. All furniture, soft furnishings and accessories were supplied by us. When building work at the house was complete, we conducted a full installation of the furnishings, artwork and finishing touches.
Studioteka Design, LLCLocated in Manhattan, this beautiful three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath apartment incorporates elements of mid-century modern, including soft greys, subtle textures, punchy metals, and natural wood finishes. Throughout the space in the living, dining, kitchen, and bedroom areas are custom red oak shutters that softly filter the natural light through this sun-drenched residence. Louis Poulsen recessed fixtures were placed in newly built soffits along the beams of the historic barrel-vaulted ceiling, illuminating the exquisite décor, furnishings, and herringbone-patterned white oak floors. Two custom built-ins were designed for the living room and dining area: both with painted-white wainscoting details to complement the white walls, forest green accents, and the warmth of the oak floors. In the living room, a floor-to-ceiling piece was designed around a seating area with a painting as backdrop to accommodate illuminated display for design books and art pieces. While in the dining area, a full height piece incorporates a flat screen within a custom felt scrim, with integrated storage drawers and cabinets beneath. In the kitchen, gray cabinetry complements the metal fixtures and herringbone-patterned flooring, with antique copper light fixtures installed above the marble island to complete the look. Custom closets were also designed by Studioteka for the space including the laundry room.
