Hillside for color and function
This back yard was a large hill and was terraced to give it function. A deck with built in bench seating and arbor is of the living room while a flagstone patio is off the lower level. A lawn for the kids is at the top level with a seating area and a flagstone path. Edible plants such as citrus trees and herbs were planned into this water-wise garden.
