3D Backyard Design
We created a 3D rendering to fully show our client the outcome of her backyard remodel project. You can see from the 3D renderings we literally brought her vision to life.
Complete Backyard Remodel
We installed new pavers for the large walkway that runs from the front to the back of the backyard. We built a large concrete wall with stucco all around for privacy. The new courtyard also has new pavers, grass sections, and a sprinkler system. We planted new trees and built a wood-raised vegetable bed. For decorative accents, we added new concrete steps, smart exterior lights, artificial turf installation, river rock installation, and new drain lines to prevent flooding. We also built a custom floating deck that sits in between trees.

OUTHOUSE designThis project is a great example of looking at the strengths of the existing space, how our clients want to use the garden and simply removing hurdles that don’t encourage flow. The upper deck was small and impractical for dining, narrow timber steps didn’t encourage connection and a supporting post in the middle didn’t help matters. In a nutshell the client didn’t venture far from the back door.
So, after confirming a clear client brief, the next step was to engage with a professional Engineer and obtain the green light to replace the vertical support post with a suitable beam. This simple but vital change opened up the complete space, enabled us to extend the deck and widen the steps.
The next stage was to encourage the complete family into the garden and what better way to do this than create a focal point. Creating extensive seating encourages year-round use, with warm summer days under the scented frangipani tree to those cooler evenings with the advantage of our client’s fire pit.
Recycling the site sandstone to create a feature pond and installing oversized paving, brings character to the garden. Low maintenance lush planting combinations soften the garden and give year-round interest.
The final touches are the external seating cushions crafted by our client and what a great final touch to a super family garden.

LunnScapeomplete landscape design overhaul for the entrance of North Lakes community Located in Broward county Florida featuring: False Agave, Green Island Ficus, Viburnum, Red Velvet pants, European Fan Palms, Bismark palms, Coconut Palms, Queen Palms, Caprocks, Texas Sage, Coleus Annual Flowers, Robelini Palm, Japanese Blueberry tree and Louisiana red Copperleaf plant.
Earth Designs Garden and Build London and EssexTo make gardening and maintenance as easy as possible, all planting in the upper garden is contained within curved raised beds constructed from rendered concrete blocks and painted a zesty lime green. These beds are formed of several sections, each increasing in height by 20 cm increments, with the tallest in the back left corner of the space.
The planting scheme has a lush feel, with a backbone of shrubs, new architectural specimens and some of the clients existing plants including several established yukka.

Earth Designs Garden and Build London and EssexTo set the plants off to their best the garden boundaries are clad with a contemporary horizontal softwood timber slats and painted black.
Paving throughout the space is comprised of cream porcelain tiles laid in a diagonal stretcher pattern in a curved spiral motif. A pebble mosaic ‘rug’ forms the centre of the spiral shape. To make gardening and maintenance as easy as possible, all planting in the upper garden is contained within curved raised beds constructed from rendered concrete blocks and painted a zesty lime green. These beds are formed of several sections, each increasing in height by 20 cm increments, with the tallest in the back left corner of the space. The rear boundary fence was clad with a panel of green Perspex to reflect the Victorian botanical inspired theme of the space and provide a stylish backdrop on which to display the client’s London Underground sign and other ephemera. A bespoke bench seat constructed from a length of reclaimed docklands fender timber gives a nod towards the heritage of the area.
