The graphic artist client initially considered a basement studio. However, she much preferred the attic studio option that our designer suggested. The original attic stairs, built by her husband, worked for retrieving boxes but were not a comfortable height for walking up. We moved the stairs to a small second floor bedroom. Since the stairs lead to a creative space, the client wanted a fun and unusual design. A local manufacturer made the metal stringer and provided the open risers made of oak.

Virginia IronworksThe sophisticated Embassy Row 1 interior railing has stunning 5/8” steel round pickets with customer-designed collars as well as 11/16’’ steel round bars on Gatling-gun-styled posts with custom-made alabaster lights containing 5-watt bulbs. Both the pickets and posts have a beautiful nickel finish. This railing also features a 2”-wide, oval-shaped bronze top rail and a 1½” x ½” bronze-channel bottom rail.

Casona Sirenas is in Santa Ana neighborhood in Merida Centro and it is one of the amazing homes restored in the Colonial City of Merida Yucatan Mexico. The Stair in U shape flote in the central side and is covered by adobe dome hand made in site. Its sit on a round beam. From the floor to the top of the dome are approximately 14 meters. The handrail is made of wrought iron and was design for the space.
