Ageing Gracefully - custom designed wine cellarsThis stunning cellar hosts a plethora of storage options along with the use of arched stylings, drawing one's gaze all around the room. From lighted bottle displays and conventional racking, to glass shelving and wood case slide outs.
The hand-painted brick wall and distressed cellar door form a distinct contrast with the contemporary mahogany structure; giving the feeling of a hidden treasure trove in a subterranean alcove.

Vintage CellarsThis custom wine cellar was designed and built by Vintage Wine Cellars in 2020. We worked 100% remotely with this client to create a beautiful and functional space in unfinished redwood. This wine cellar's wine racking has many versatile features to store different sizes and styles of wines and wine bottles, such as tiered coved trays for large format wine bottles, high reveal display rows, individual bottle storage, Original Wooden Cases, and custom cabinetry.
The unique shape and design of this room required a skilled contractor like Vintage Wine Cellars to design and create a completely custom wine cellar - perfectly fit to the shape and flow of the room.
This client's room was actually huge - but he just didn't have the need to fill it completely with wine (maybe one day!) The front and rear walls are both fitted with custom racking, divided by open space and a large marble countertop. This room would lend itself perfectly to enjoying a nice bottle or three with some friends as there is plenty of space to walk around and mingle, as well as counter space begging to be used to decant those fantastic bottles.
Custom Wine Cellars such as this are more common in traditional style homes, as the decor matches very well with the rustic motif. There are so many different styles and paths you can choose for racking and design nowadays. Traditional Racking such as this can have limitless variations and design features to properly store your unique collection - one of the many reasons we love wooden wine cellars.

The Woodshop Inc.This basement features A climate controlled glass enclosed wine storage system. The racking is made of teak. The basement ceiling is a tongue and groove wood ceiling stained to match the doors and trimwork throughout the house. We added brick veneer to multiple walls in the space to create the feeling of an old world cellar. The space is equipped with a wet bar. The cabinets are a rich dark stained cherry with raised panel doors and drawers with Cambria counter top. We added under cabinet lighting which really shows off the brick detail. The winding staircase is finished to match the wet bar cabinetry.

Blue Grouse Wine CellarsWine bottles are placed on Vintage View wine racks which are then mounted to floor-and-ceiling frames so that there is no drilling into the rock wall. A frameless glass front wall provides maximum visibility of the wine collection.
Storage capacity in this cellar is quite high with bottles stored up to 5 deep.

Rudloff Custom BuildersWe were thrilled to be working again with these long-time clients in Villanova, PA, to create a two-room wine cellar. This entailed renovating an existing part of their basement and adding an additional room. The best part about this project? The second room is accessed through a secret door! We designed the mechanism that opens the secret door:the door is opened by pressing the cork of a certain wine bottle.
This 8,000-bottle capacity wine cellar features all redwood custom-built shelving, and redwood, glass top display tables. The first room has a redwood paneled ceiling and porcelain tile floors. The second room's ceiling is made from reclaimed wine barrels and the beams are made from cherry wood. The floors are reclaimed brick laid in a two-over-two pattern.
